Might not be the last if Dan Rooney has his way.
"The Steelers want to be Ireland’s NFL team and that’s through real connection. Also, through my family's ties back to the island... we hope this game only furthers our connection with the Irish people and we’re excited to get Pittsburgh on the global map."

"My grandfather would be proud of the organisation for taking this step. We can’t wait to kick the ball off over there in Dublin."

Patriots are a 20 miles outside of Boston so I would have thought they would have been the "Irish" team.

With England in their name and red, white and blue as their colours? Nah, would rather it was the Jets, Packers or Eagles.

Fair points. I will counter with the mascot is based on people who fought the English and won, and Red White and Blue are common colours for multiple countries.

I've stopped over in Philly quite a few times. The aiport Holiday Inn shuttle bus drops you off at an Irish bar that is full of Eagles fans, good people and great cheesesteaks. Nothing particular against the Chiefs, but Go Eagles!!

*Plus Philly has claret and blue cabs.

They keep showing the mascot of the Chiefs, no idea why they went with a walrus.
