It’s more a Villa comparison really rather than Liverpool. Lose our best player to a higher profile team/city then emerge better for it.
The Bears rivalry is similar to…

Ouch!

The Bears do have a proud history and great support, however .

Unlike those across Brum at the sty
Yes all fair comment!

Just like the Eagles, I see the Dolphins blew the top spot in their league.
The Bills seemed to have come from nowhere to win it.
So, too, did the Jaguars, losing to the Titans

I think the Cowboys should see off Green Bay
I’m guessing that it will be the Lions or Rams up next, while the 49ers await the Eagles or the Buccaneers

Pray silence for us Jags fans. 8-3, Lawrence and his run and throw game really firing with a half competent D to then end up 9-8. It’s the hope that kills you. The injuries to Lawrence and Kirk and having to play the whole AFC North who’ve got three teams through this season has not helped.

Real choke from the Jags. Dolphins and Eagles stumbling into the playoffs, although I think the Eagles will beat the Bucs at least. Texans v Browns seems pick of first round in terms of unpredictable outcome.

Funny, my brother always calls the Packers Liverpool. Obviously fans all over and very successful.

Bears are Villa. Founder members of the League, great history. Superb in the 80s, but not much success since.

Jets = Tottenham.  Cowboys = Manure. Giants = Arsenal. Ravens = Leeds. Bills = Newcastle. Patriots = Chelsea.

Think I've thought too much about thus.

Haha.

The Ravens are good though, mate.

I may have posted these links before, but:

Definitely prefer the Villa being compared to the Niners rather than those scummy Seahawks

Could maybe swap Eagles for Leeds. Their fans are maniacs and easily upset.

Oh and the Villa Blues rivalry can be Da Bears and the (Formerly Chicago) Cardinals.

No way are Leeds comparable to either Ravens or Eagles if you look at recent success. They're more like the Browns than anyone. I like the Chelsea Pats comparison though.

Like the Jets Tottenham link but Jets have been terrible last decade or so while Tottenham have been good but still without winning anything. Maybe more like the Titans?

At the risk of pissing off Axl, the 49ers are a bit like Liverpool too aren't they?

Haha. It's a fair point.

The good in the 80's and at the moment part?

The fans, not so much. I've been to Lambeau and the fans reminded me of Liverpool fans at Anfield.

I also lived in Michigan and studied with loads of Packers. Thought the same.

Though Lambeau is far superior to that shithole in Liverpool. A great stadium in fairness, and to their credit, they were very kind to me, and didn't rub it in when they beat us. I was possibly too cold to care at that point!
