Very pleasantly surprised by the Niners.

I have a tendency to be negative (as everyone can probably tell 😂 )but I was starting to get fed up of Shanahan, and felt a change might be for the best.

As usual, and I know it's only one game of football, but I was wrong. That's one of the best first half performances I've seen from a Niners team for many a season. Fucking powerful.

I'm a massive Ayuk fan and think he goes under the radar a little bit, when plaudits are being dished out to Deebo, McCaffrey, Kittle etc. He seems to have a telepathic understanding with Brock, also.

Yes, massive pleased. As for the Steelers, deary me. 20-0 down and waving those little scarves?

We were excellent Axl. Sunday evening was very pleasant.
Moody, the new kicker looked very good.
CmC class.
Defense awesome.
All got involved.

I would have taken Brock and CmC out a bit earlier and wrapped them in cotton wool.

I must admit that I did laugh when Rodgers had to go off after the first drive.

Serves him right for being a massive wanker.

Fair play to the Jets, though.

I can stomach them with Wilson at QB.

They're going to win this I reckon.

Well done, Jets.

Deserved that.

Rodgers likely out for the season.

The Jets are cursed.

Rodgers likely out for the season.

The Jets are cursed.

Think Packers 1st Rounder from Jeys was conditional on him playing a % of their games?

Ideally the Jets win loads of games and Rodgers doesn't play in them.

That Garrett Wilson catch was brilliant.

Rodgers needed to play 60% of the snaps this season for the Packers to receive a 1st round pick.  Otherwise they get a second round pick.

The Jets surrounded Rodgers with skill players but ignored the O lne.

Jordan Love was impressive. He won't be in the same stratosphere of peak Rodgers or Favre, but with a strong run game and solid pieces built around him, i think hes more than good enough for Green Bay to compete going forward

Love was impressive albeit against a truly shocking Bears team. We’d be lucky to get 3 in a row of HOF QB’s but we have followed a process that worked with Rodgers when he took over from Favre, so perhaps we might. That said this season we look some distance behind the 9ers so maybe we should look to keep up with an impressive looking Lions team for now in our division and see what happens over the next couple of years with Love.

Have to see how Love holds up against a decent pass rush, which frankly Da Bears do not have.

Seems the bears are starting to hit Cleveland levels of ineptness with 12 losses in a row.

Nice to see the Dolphins twist the knife into the Pats again.

Dallas defence looking good
7 shut outs in 8 quarters
