The very next day after Aaron Rodgers returns to the Packers, I get to live it again with Jack. Every summer it’s the bloody same.

Is anyone else going to the London games?

No paper/PDF tickets are being issued.

Tickets can only be  accessed by storing them in an Apple Wallet or Google Pay. I don’t use either of these and my mate who’s coming with me doesn’t have a smartphone or home internet.

It’s going to be a mess.

I didn't know that, I've bought tickets and don't remember that being mentioned. Can you download those things on an android phone?

Android phones should be ok using the Google option.

Details are vague at the moment (see your confirmation email)

I don’t really want to set up Apple Wallet. I’ve no idea how that works in terms of loading a ticket.

The email suggests that instructions for those who can’t use the system won’t be issued until a week before the games. IMO that’s far too late.

I’m going to try to contact TM support this week and will report back.

To coincide with Government Covid-19 advice regarding ‘contactless where possible,’ there will be no paper tickets for London Games 2021.
All tickets at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will be digital and will need to be downloaded to your smartphone.
You will receive an email with instructions on how to access and download your ticket(s) approximately 7 days prior to gameday.
If you have not received an email within 3 days of gameday, please visit https://help.ticketmaster.co.uk/
Every ticket holder attending a game will need to have their own ticket on their smartphone ready to be scanned on entry.
Instructions on how to forward tickets to others in your party will be communicated prior to gameday

Thanks, I found it now. I obviously didn't bother to read the email properly.

I thought the apple wallet was there anyway whether you have apple pay or not. It is just a place to store tickets locally on the phone rather then in emails. Then it alerts you when the GPS realises you are close to the venue and lets you bring up the details easily rather then having to scroll through emails. Especially useful if the Internet is problematic with 1000's of devices connected.

Of course people without smart phones are screwed although you might be able to store your mates as well on your own.

No response from Ticketmaster.

I ran a test on Apple Wallet by adding a COVID pass. That seemed to work ok, so I think that I should be able to store my ticket ok.

The FAQ says that only one ticket is allowed per device.

multiple tickets on the same device are prohibited

I really don't know what I can do about my mate's ticket. However, there must be a workaround

Hopefully they provide some more information in advance. They sell kids' tickets, surely every five year old doesn't have their own smart phone?

Based on TM's FAQs, it seems to be their assumption that most kids attending will have their own smartphones, but that an alternative method will be offered.
I'll have great pleasure in telling my mate that he'll have to be treated as a five year old. :)

Bloody hell, Philly with a 91 yard pass.

That’s like Small Heath pinging one in the top corner from 35.

Jax with a 102 yard KO return.

Meanwhile, the only current QB that I’ve spoken to, Jacoby Brissett, has got on the field for his 50th NFL game.

He’s now with Miami.
