NFL Roster cuts from 90 to 53 today. No huge shocks from the ones I've heard from the Bears so far.

TJ Ward cut by the Broncos.

Dorsett traded from Colts to Patriots for Jacoby Brissett. Strange one, dare I say that the Colts have got the better end of the deal?

No real surprises week 1 in College Football. Looks like usual suspects will dominate once more. Though are we allowed to stop laughing at the Longhorns?

Big week next week with OU at Ohio State and Clemson/Auburn.

Well........apart from the game that's been called the biggest upset in the history of college football

Ha ha fair point and I had read that before posting as well. Added to the Baylor result I suppose that was a bit FA Cup 3rd round day.

Staying in a hotel near Charing Cross train and tube stations in October, for the Browns v Vikings game.

Thinking the best way to get to Twickenham is the Northern Line to Waterloo then a train to Twickenham. Doesn't look like you can get a train from Charing Croos tube station to there.

Is there anything exciting in Charing Cross; pubs, theatres, cinemas, etc?

The Ship and Shovell is alright. 5 minute walk to Embankment and then take your pick.

Have my draft board ready for tonight and quite excited about it.

They should do a football version of it.

College football - massive win for OU at OSU and Clemson dug out a hard fought win at Auburn. Other than that not much of interest.

Two fucking drops in the last twenty seconds. Either would've won us the game. Every sodding team I support...

Should have been a Packers fan then  ;)

Good win for Green Bay despite the offence not firing for much of the game. It would be no surprise if the AFC championship game was a Packers vs Seahawks repeat

I'll be happy to bet that neither team makes the AFC Championship Game...

They are both THAT good  ;D

Maybe they'll have to settle for the NFC game instead

Highly encouraging start by the Bears. Rookie Tarik Cohen got nearly 150 yards from scrimmage, eclipsing Howard, which is some feat.

We kept last year's top scoring offence in NFL TO 20 points and could have won the game at the end.

On the down side Kevin White broke his collarbone and is out for the season, meaning we already have our top 2 WRs out for the season. It was probably the weakest area on our roster anyway.

Can we still acquire players?

Think you can for about the first 6 weeks or so.
