If there was a contest to be the best football Alan Partridge soundalike the top two would surely be Sam Matterface in second place and Clive Tyldesley in first place.

Matterface was on Talksport the other night, convinced that he'd got the scoop that Conte had resigned. The studio presenters tried to tactfully point out that Conte might have just been a bit 'emosh' but Sam was having none of it, speaking in the hushed but self important tone of somebody who had just brokered a peace detail between Russia and Ukraine. The silly tit.

Wasn't Matterface but the commentator saying "And Cash is bang on the money" after Matty scored yesterday got on my nerves.
