Cash was a big part of the second half improvement, brain fart aside, his aggression in getting into the winger very early was the catalyst for a much more physical performance from everyone.
Thought he was very close to MOM

Cash is bloody good, he drives us forward and is very aggressive. I think he’s stepped up another notch this season and been one our most consistent players.

Needs to work on his crossing though, considering he was supposedly a winger at Forest, it's shocking.

One of his biggest critics, but shout out to Matty on Saturday against Everton - Played really well. That kind of game is his bread and butter. Much better player when all he's asked to do is defend.
I like him, but his main weakness is that he gets into good attacking positions, but then that final ball always appears to be lacking. If he could add that to his game, he'd be so much better in this system. I'm sure that when we play some of these 'lesser' sides where our wingbacks are given free license to get forward, I'll be screaming at him again!

Get Elmo in to teach him to cross.

He does put some great balls in, off the top of my head there's Targett's impossible miss at Old Trafford, Cam's header at Chelsea and the chance that Digne had against Man Utd the other week, just needs a bit of consistency with it.
If that comes, the forwards will make more convincing runs and the goals will start flying in

I do wonder if Bailey may play in place of Cash sometimes. Given how advanced the full backs are, it would be a very ambitious and attacking line-up but one that could work.

Repeated in the Birmingham Live which pretty much confirms it's bullshit.

That's some pretty lazy journalism there. Newcastle sign a right back from Atletico so they must need a new one right?!

Now being reported everywhere, but almost verbatim repeats of the original article.
If Athletico are that keen, then they can stump up another £10m, we'll bank a tidy £30+m profit and promote Kaine Kesler-Hayden - who might be a better crosser?

They've contacted us but want him in the summer.... sounds so believable.
''Hi Villa, Madrid here, Atletico, the dirty shithouse ones, not the ones who fiddle FFP''
''Ok, hello..''
''Just letting you know, Matty Cash is good and we will put a bid in for him, in 5 months time, just keep your eyes on the fax machines Ok''
