My predictions up to their usual standard.

About as good as mine. Out of the blue and that's why boxing is so great.

Anyone staying/getting up for Canelo v Smith?

My Spanish still isn't up to having actual conversations with the locals here, but their love for Canelo is palpable. And this is an arty namby pamby enclave.

Very good SE.

That was a masterclass in how to box.

I have, at best, a passing interest in the game, but that looked like a masterclass to me.

Canelo dodged most of what Smith threw at him (which was not enough) and what did land he just walked through. I often get the feeling with a lot of British champions that when they have these fights stateside they deep down just don't feel they belong. Smith was intimidated by Canelo and his reputation from the off.

But Canelo vs GGG 3(?) is on now. The fact that Canelo didn't stop Smith makes me wonder if he is not slightly lacking the real power he needs at Super Middle, given how often he landed? Even though he obviously hit harder than Smith. I think after Friday I'd lean towards GGG for the next rematch.

I watched both and by my reckoning, anywhere outside of Mexico and the US South West, GGG won the first fight and the second was a draw. If the third fight is back in Vegas, once again GGG stands no chance of getting a decision.

Canelo is undeniably a great fighter, but I don't like him at all.

Can't say I was overly impressed with Garcia there, Cambell a bit unlucky. And Garcia is an annoying cock to boot.

Excellent bodyshot to finish it though.
Had Garcia ahead as well. Thought Luke obviously the 2nd but also the 4th, Garcia the rest.
