Between them they've got 31 of their 37 wins by stoppage, and neither of them threw more than a couple of big punches.

Yarde going to give it the ‘I was robbed’ isn’t he?  Only one man to blame

Absolutely. I had Yarde a point up but he should have done much better.

Does anyone listen to the 5Live boxing podcast? You have to question Yarde's trainer & manager. He is good value for the media, but doesn't exactly seem to be much of a thinker or scholar of the sport.

He was useless. It took him eight rounds to see what Cousin Ritchie had been saying for the past five.

I'm not surprised. That kind of bravado can be useful, but when you're knackered with 45-50 seconds in the corner between rounds, it isn't going to be helpful.

Good win for Sam Eggington. Followed his career. He needed that one.

Apparently Eggington might be fighting Adrien Broner after beating Theophane tonight. I didn't see that one coming.

That would be a massive error of judgement.

That should be a decent pay day for a journeyman.

2020 is all types of weird when ch5 are showing boxing from Redditch :-)

It's a disgrace that the Joshua fight is on PPV, £26 to watch, in the present economic climate, do the powers that be not realise a lot of fans are living on the breadline.

The best fights so far have been on Channel 5 and the production last night was the best I've ever seen. Now, I've just switched on. How did Hughie Fury look?
