I think he might be the best player in the world. I'm only half jesting.

Guessand aside, you might be (half) right.

Three thoughts on Morgan:

1. It was a bit of a striker’s goal, which I thought was tantalising.
2. He did a little dribble up the touchline right at the end, which was exquisite and made him look head and shoulders above the rest.
3. He remains a humble team player: Cash made a long run forward at one point. Who had the presence of mind to fill in at right back? Why, Morgz of course.

I'm convinced he could a world class centre forward to rival Kane, but it seems a waste given what else he can do.

Probably depends how you set up. It wouldn't really work in in our current system of working hard, running channels, holding up play etc.

But in a 90s throwback style, build your team to support and create space for your striker it would probably look quite sexy.

Would definitely solve an international headache too and give England the Kane replacement they're going to need in a couple of years.

As an aside, for a big lad, you never really see him get on the end of many crosses, do you? Compared to average-sized Watkins or tiny Emi.

He has such an extensive skillset that it would seem churlish to point out, as you allude, that he rarely uses his bonce in an attacking sense.
