Another well taken by Azaz for Newport this evening.

His goal the other week was absolute class.

It’s think that’s 6 goals in 9 starts since his Jan move. I know it’s only league two, but those are some pretty good numbers for the lad considering the disappointment of his Ipswich loan.  I imagine an Archer-style Championship loan would be the best thing for him next season?

Azaz seems to make headlines for Newport most weeks. I wonder if he is being considered for us next season?

I would imagine Azaz will be loaned out to a Championship club next season to see how he does at that level. The one thing that I like about him is that when he has passed the ball he is straight away moving into space ready for it to be given back to him. None of this “here it is, I’ll see what you can do with it.”

League One more realistically.

Like Archer, he looks more powerful, so he might go higher.
