In my opinion, We probably have one of the best managers (and backroom staff) to lead us out of the shite were in.

One thing the last two games have done is totally slam the nail through the brain of the "we can do this with kids" nonsense.

We were always going to struggle relying on so many of them, and we were particularly going to find it hard to bounce back from a trouncing like Chelsea with them. Who do they look to for leadership in the dressing room?

I agree with this. We need both depth and some experience. Quickly. But we do have a core of young players that have a lot of potential, and I will love the day when Lambert proves the likes of Risso wrong, who I must add wanted Lambert as manager in the summer

I repeat as a moderator, shouldn't you NOT be doing an impression of one of the biggest wind up merchants on here?  Everybody's entitled to an opinion, yet you've done nothing but pick on other posters in this thread.  Poor form from a poster I used to respect.

No, you don't like that I have an argument against your continual, part of the time bile filled, vitriol against the club. Re poster I used to respect, ditto.

You're the one having a go at other posters continually, if you don't like what I have to say just ignore it.  I shouldn't have to put up with this twattish behavior from a so called moderator though.

why the fuck isn't Bannan or Weimann playing? I can't understand if he's trying to rotate the team so if so where is Gabby? Why didn't Ireland start?

I swear any hint of progress we make we manage to fuck it up very quick.

Weimann injured for 2/3 weeks was reported on here in the pre-thread

But what makes you think that?

That's a genuine question, by the way, not a snarky one!

I was a great fan of Lambo since he was in Norwich's books and I remain convinced that he is the right man for the job but I must admit that, like against Pool,  I haven't understood his tactics yesterday. Apart from the awful approach to the game and the total lack of consistency of the team, how can you deliver the keys of the midfield in the hands of two championship-level players like Delph and KEA? And how can you play together two lightweighs like Ireland & Holman when it has just been proved (the last time time at Anfield) that they can't play together? P.S. Why Weimann didn't play nor was in the bench?

Look, he needed to keep it tight for this game and some players needed a rest. A point tonight would give us a great platform to go on and beat Wigan. Draw Spurs tonight and beat Wigan and we'd be looking at needing only about five more wins this season to be pretty sure of staying up.

There is no answer bar a win next game..they wiped us!

I'm looking beyond staying up, win today and we will be 4 points of 8th place , it's really congested mid table and no reason why we can't get amongst it.

I think the money situation is dire and that is part of the reason were in this mess. There aren't many managers who can work like this and although he has had a tough start I just think and hope he can deliver.

Possibly the best quote of all time.
