You're right and I didn't imply anyone was. I wrote a thought through statement. I am ashamed of what Villa have become and how we managed (or mismanaged) to get to this bomb site of a situation.

We were always going to struggle relying on so many of them, and we were particularly going to find it hard to bounce back from a trouncing like Chelsea with them. Who do they look to for leadership in the dressing room?

I agree with this. We need both depth and some experience. Quickly. But we do have a core of young players that have a lot of potential, and I will love the day when Lambert proves the likes of Risso wrong, who I must add wanted Lambert as manager in the summer

Oh come on, we all  know that was just a marketing tool that was nice for a game or two. Who cares about it? We're second best to Tottenham, these things happen. Ashamed? Fine, don't bother wearing your Villa scarf and shirt for a week or two. Proud a few days ago when we beat Liverpool but now we have a couple of heavy defeats the world is caving in and the four horsemen of the apocalypse are coming to Aston Villa.
