Just to get the ball rolling.
The way the club has decided on (yet to be announced) ticket allocations and the order of priority is absolutely wank and an insult to all of our fans.
-
I'm fuming and have decided to boycott it (unless I get a ticket).
-
Flights and hotel booked. Hopefully a half decent allocation.
-
Maybe a 7-10k allocation?
-
Allocation will most likely be around 8k based on previous allocations at other grounds.
Ground holds 29500. Spurs and PSG had 6700 each for a ground with a 25k capacity.
-
Come on the Villa boys, beat this bunch of chancers! :)
-
I really want us to lift this thing, it’s the difficult second trophy.

Plus it would annoy Arsenal fans.

You'd hope that the sponsors, hangers on, UEFA suits and the rest of the undeserving "UEFA Football Family" (aka leeches) will have had their fill of footy with the 3 UEFA finals and the World Cup leaving the majority of seats for Villa and PSG supporters.
And you never know, as we are only a provincial English club and not one of the Greedy6 might depress demand even further!
-
Surely us Villa fans are sick of winning trophies now?
-
After missing out on Istanbul due to the random way they issued out codes, I’ve already booked flights and accommodation for me and my lad. Even if we struggle to get tickets we can at least have the experience of being there with other fans and watch at one of the fan zones.
-
Surely us Villa fans are sick of winning trophies now?
It’s nice to win something under a Labour government. We’ve won more under both the Tories and even the fucking liberals than Labour.

Formed when Disraeli was PM. Tories in power when we last won the FA Cup (that's why McMillan said we never had it so good)*. During Harold Wilsons 1964-70 tenure we went from the 1st to the 3rd. During the Thatcher/Major years we won the league, European Cup, got relegated, came back and achieved two runners up positions and a couple of league cups.
* McMillan took over 3 days after our 3rd round replay win against Luton as it was felt it would give us better a chance of winning the Cup. Edens resignation had nothing to do with Suez.
-
Spurs were allocated 6700 and purchased 4700 so hopefully everyone who wants one will get one for this match. Hopefully we will take a lot more than that. But it is August. I doubt there will be fanzones for this match surely?
-
There will be there, I think.
-
Disraeli or dat one?
-
Flights, trains and hotels booked. Can't wait already.
-
All booked up, hopefully enough tickets to go round for those who wish to go. They had fanzones last year too apparently.
-
I'm waiting for the price of Goughys coach trip to be announced, he's deffo running one to Salzburg. My son wants to go for his 16th birthday
-
Why has such a small stadium been.chosen for this game? Demand will be high again. Surely they could've found a much larger venue?
-
Nobody really takes it too seriously, that’s why. It’s an exhibition game, really.
At least it is to clubs that regularly win stuff.
-
The match last season was held at Udinese's ground with a capacity of 25,000. The gate was 21,000.
I still think we'll take a load over for this though.
-
I’m going with the attitude that it’ll be good fun with some nice beer, and if we win great but if we lose so be it. It’s possibly a week early for a full out pre season game as the season starts on 22/8. However we’ve got quite a few who aren’t going to the World Cup so I’m sure they’ll be up for it.

Just on this, I’m curious - is it classed as a major trophy or not? I’m pretty sure our 83 Super Cup win doesn’t get included in our list of trophies won however I’ve seen other clubs include it on their honours list. Most recently Guardiola’s list of trophies won at City included the Super Cup.
-
It's a trophy but not a major trophy, IMO. Better than the Charity Shield but way below winning the League Cup which is the smallest major trophy.
-

Yeah, reckon that's right.
I think that a "major trophy" requires more work than just winning a one-off invitational game, however hard you had to work to get the invitation in the first place.
Would still be great to win it though.
-
Good answers. Cheers both.
-

Yep. A glamorous, friendly. Would be nice to win it though.
-
Even the prize money suggests it's more about the taking part - €4m to the losers, €5m to the winners.
-
I really want to win it, we need our players to get into the habit of picking up trinkets.
-

Is the correct answer.
-
I don’t think we’ll sell out especially if it’s not included in criteria for future tickets. Spurs sold 4700 out of 6700 allocation but I would hope we might beat that.
When we won it in 83 it did seem a big deal but we were playing Barcelona and it was over two legs.
I think it probably equals a League Cup these days!
-
It's a glorified friendly but fantastic to be involved
-
More prize money than the league cup, of course. But I think a trophy with only two teams in it isn't really a proper one.
It's a nice to have, we need to go for it, but it shouldn't dampen our hunger for the actual meat of the season.

Equals a League Cup, are you mad.
I’m going to go all cdbf here and say anyone repeating this will be put on a list.
There are 6 major trophies you can win
Champions League
Premier League
Europa League
FA Cup
Europa Conference League
League Cup
these are the ones that count and then there are “minor” honours.
Minor Honours
Club World Cup (old or new format)
UEFA Super Cup
FA Community Shield
FA Youth Cup
We’ve won 21 Major Honours and I think 7 Minor Honours.
-

If we lose it’s a glorified friendly, if we win it’s a significant trophy….

Probably older than you and remember 83.
Of course it’s only my opinion but league cup is so devalued now other than the Wembley final that it probably needs putting out of its misery. It started as a poor imitation of the FA Cup anyway so it’s gone full circle.
And no I’m not mad thank you!
-
I think the new Club World Cup is, unpleasant as it may be, a major trophy. You have to play seven games and the winner gets £100 million. The new Intercontinental Cup can still be classed as a minor trophy as European teams only have to win one match.
-
I really want to win it, we need our players to get into the habit of picking up trinkets.
yeh me too. It's like Palace beating Liverpool to win the Community Shield even if it doesn't mean much. They won the FA Cup to get there and it's always a great feeling seeing your team lift shiny things. I want to get used to that feeling. A domestic trophy would be nice next season at minimum as we go for much bigger prizes.
-
Also, the idea of getting rid of the League Cup is horrific. For most Premier League clubs, they only have a realistic chance of winning one of two domestic honours when the season starts. Why would you want to reduce that? The sort of nonsense arrogant Arsechesterpool glory-hunters come out with.
-
I like the idea of having UEFA Super Cup winners x 2 on our honours list.
-
The Super Cup in 1983 was a mid season tie and meant a lot when we won it, even if the trophy was just a piece of polished wood. Barcelona certainly never treated the tie as a friendly, it was a battle to the death. Nowadays it's a glorified pre season curtain raiser, a European version of the community shield. That said, we'll be Supreme Champions of Europe if we win it, like we were in 1983

I suppose I have to concede this one, as you say unpleasant as it may be. Is the Intercontinental Cup the thing that FIFA still do between Europe and South America every year apart from the Club World Cup year? I’m so lost on how this is developing, bloody FIFA.

I agree that it was a battle in 1983 and there was a tremendous atmosphere at Villa Park. But, even though we were playing Barcelona, the attendance was only 31,000. Above average for that season, but still low when you consider the opposition and, the ground was bursting at the seams a few days later, when we hosted Wolves in the FA Cup.

...I was at that game, a crazy night. GBH being dished out in plain sight on the pitch if I remember. Seems completely mad that we had a bigger turnout for Wolves than Barcelona, don't think that would happen now lol...
-
Of course, confusingly our win in 1983 was the 1982 European Super Cup.

It was the 5th round. And the FA Cup was a huge deal then. Wolves must have had a large following. Even more in the seats in Trinity Road in those days as well.
Plus for quarter final v Dynamo Kiev I think we’d had 36k. So seems about par at the time given economic climate, hooliganism etc and the effects on gates.
-
That Barcelona team was so dirty. It was only my third or fourth match.
I think there was talk of them being banned from Europe because they were so dirty.

The Intercontinental Cup was an annual tie between the Champions of Europe and South America. It's the one in which we lost against Peñarol in 1982.
In 2000, FIFA introduced the Club World Cup, an eight team tournament with a group stage. The one that Man U played in when they withdrew from the FA Cup. This was supposed to be the start of a new annual tournament but clubs could never find room in the calendar for it.
The Intercontinental Cup carried on until 2004.
In 2005, FIFA introduced an updated Club World Cup featuring all the continental champions plus the champions of the host nation, with the European Champions receiving a bye to the semis. The Intercontinental Cup was scrapped.
2024 saw the Club World Cup expanded to 32 teams and changed to a once every four years tournament.
So that there would still be an annual tournament for confederation champions, FIFA created a new competition, the FIFA Intercontinental Cup. While having a similar name, this is classed as a separate competition from the "old" Intercontinental Cup. The format is the same as the 2005-2023 Club World Cup except that European teams now receive a bye to the final rather than the semi.
To add to the confusion, the old Intercontinental Cup was quite often known, informally, as "the Club World Cup" even though it never had this title officially, and both the Intercontinental Cup and Club World Cup were played in 1999/2000.
-
There was probably a similar number of Villa fans at both games as there were pretty much no away fans for Barcelona and Wolves brought loads. For the FAC game the chairman's turnstiles were well used. Barcelona was the first time I stood on the Holte, Wolves was back in the seats with the family.

I was bottom right of the Holte for the Barcelona game, and at the back of the Holte left side for Wolves. IIRC a load of Wolves came up Trinity Rd and goaded the Holte after everyone was in the ground, and the were a few missiles thrown similar to the Legia Warsaw mayonnaise/ketchup fiasco.
-
From memory there were a load of Wolves that didn't get in and so they spent the game on the hill, which led to fun after the game.
-
Yes that was a very moody afternoon, helped by the fact a certain Mr Andy Gray was up front for them.
-
Arsechesterpool! Fantastic portmanteauing. Maybe sneak in an L to the middle of Chester to encompass the King's Road (well, Fulham Rd actually) cretins.

Would still be great to win it though.
Some manager (maybe BFR or The Doc) once said the promotion play-off is the hardest competition in the world. “You have to play 46 games to get to the semi-final” (or summat like that) he said.
By that logic, this is a tough one too and I want four stars on the badge if we win it again.
-
I would put the whole badge inside a massive star if we win this.
-
Didn't want this to get lost in the match thread archive and i know it's not about the Super Cup, but fuck it, watch this kid's face and the people around him watching the final at the NIA
He's got hardly any views, but it's very, very real. That's what it's all about.
-
Also ^^^ great New St Station content at the end.
-
Great to be young
-
My son and I are all booked in flights and hotels. As we're in Essex now I had to get it done before Saturday as if the Arse had one prices would have rocketed. Was so relieved that PSG eventually prevailed as you just know Arsenal had won their fans would have been the most monumental prices. Was thinking that PSG would be a better atmosphere although the scenes in Paris now im mot so sure but im really looking forward to some pre match beers and hopefully another Villa win. I presume the centre of Saltzburg - which is quite small - is where most Villa fans will head
-
We win it and it’s a step in our upwards trajectory, if we lose, it becomes what it really is, a glorified friendly.

I mean, I've given refs some stick over the years, but this is ridiculous.

Just practising.

He's supposedly worse than the ones we've had the last couple of years in Europe.

Getting the Super Cup gig for this Somalian is quite a feat given he’s a Shooting an AK47 into the air indiscriminately type of person.

He's not the Car Reverser.

Nice City

Nice City
The old town is beautiful.
-
The ballot process is now open on the UEFA website for tickets direct from UEFA. There’s no details of prices etc but you have until 23rd June to submit an application in with them. Guessing the club will release details of our allocation etc once that window is closed.
-
We’ve been allocated 7000
9000 to neutrals
-
Have flights, trains, hotels (Munich and Saltzberg) all booked
Just a ticket now ;)- looked at the EUFA app - what a load of shite that is
-
Any idea when Villa will communicate our ticket distribution? I'd rather buy a Villa ticket than get a neutral one from UEFA ideally
-
I assume you can apply for a UEFA one but bin it off if you get a proper villa one? At least I hope so, because I've applied in that ballot.
-

I suspect FIFA will sell theirs before Villa's window opens.
-
From what I've read, if successful you get the opportunity to buy...if you choose not to, your allotted tickets go back into the mix for other applications. I hope that's right anyway.
-
It's a first-come-first-served thing, so I guess they have more 'winners' than tickets.
-
I believe you could sell them back to uefa for the final.
-
They have a resale portal, yeah. Though I am not sure if you get all the money back. I think I saw somewhere you get charged a percentage to return them, but not sure.
-
7,000 (us) + 7,000 (PSG) + 9,000 (neutral) leaves 5,500 for UEFA cronies and sponsors many of which will no doubt be on resale sites. Do we think we'll sell out our 7k allocation?
-

I had an issue with the website telling me there was something suspicious and a bot had been detected and I couldn't apply. I waited a bit and tried again on my phone instead of the PC and it worked.
-
Deleted and rejoined and it worked ok
If i can get one through Villa then i will resell if need be

-
I enjoyed the flashback to Sensible Soccer.
-
Well this is fun. Registered my phone successfully but now I'm denied access to the UEFA ticketing site.
-
Is it saying there is something suspicious detected?
-
No, just 'Access is temporarily restricted'
Strange because I've registered my phone, and the Europa final ticket is still on there too so they know who I am

I'm flying to Munich then getting the train across. It's the simplest but probably not the cheapest now.

I know a mate of mine pressed us to get hotels in Munich and Saltzberg sorted before the ECL final - boy was he right
They have trebled in Munich and quadrupled in Saltzberg !!
-
Anyone looked into any decent travel routes?
I'm on the 9am flight from LHR to Munich on matchday. Booked the 3pm train to Salzburg. Booked it the Saturday after Istanbul for £140 return.
-
I work for an Austrian company - the main guy their told me that and I quote “ if you get the train from Munich to Salzburg, you stop at every shit hole in Germany”
As he is Austrian and regularly has to do that journey to get to the Head Office - I am sure he knows what he is talking about

I’ve taken a train from Munich to Salzburg and there were absolutely beautiful views on the way.
-
Any idea if the club will put on flights there and back like for Istanbul? Want to go, but can't really take another three days off in the summer holidays on top of what I've already got booked so an in and out option would be great.

I had a look in the ticket announcement for that, as I think it was in the one for Istanbul, but there was no mention of it.
-
I have had a reply from UEFA ticket app to say i am in the draw (whoo hoo)
I have also applied through Villa as my argument is that as a part time employee (40 years this year) we have no way of gathering the required vouchers etc to qualify for a ticket.
Hoping they do not sell out before we get a look in :-\
-
I've got a hotel twin room in Salzburg a mile from the RB Stadium, boked it the night of the Europa final. GTFI.

Thank f**k for that!

I am in the second tranche and will copy you if I can.
At İstanbul I bought expensive tickets and it was too far away really and in the corner. I remember seeing you saying in here you were buying behind the goal and wished id copied that.

I'm not going this time, unfortunately. :-\
I want to, any chance to see the Villa lift a cup and abuse the German language, but my mate can't go (his missus won't let him out) and I only have a few days holiday left which I need to save.
I'm gutted. :'(
-
Does that include now not going to the German friendly the following Saturday?

Yeah, I would have to take a day off, unfortunately.
Doesn't look like I am getting to Germany at all this year! >:(

Eligibility Group 3 is the ballot group through The Villa, rather than the UEFA one so many of us have signed up for.
Those successful in The Villa ballot will get codes tomorrow and the window opens at 10am.

Cheers Frank
-
Just bought a ticket for me and MDC Jnr - so relieved/excited. I couldn't bounce him out of school for Europa but promised I'd take him to this....
-
Done.
So friggin relieved, especially as I missed out on Istanbul. My first European trip.

Yes it was a great city and we had a fantastic time.
The hotel was pretty empty but great little place to stay and staff were really helpful.
Taking my lad to this one as he couldn’t go to the final. Hopefully it’s as good but whatever it’ll be an experience I’m sure.

More expensive to get to and in the middle of holiday seasons so you might be right.
My brother/niece who went to the final applied for 3rd tranche and got selected but won't be buying.

I hope we do but PSG and Spurs didn’t last season and we’ve got a fairly sizeable allocation. I was in the second tranche and every category was still available.

Just looked on Ticombo, cheapest Villa ticket is £785, cheapest PSG ticket is £111, "home fans" ticket is £112.

Just bought a ticket for me and MDC Jnr - so relieved/excited. I couldn't bounce him out of school for Europa but promised I'd take him to this....
How do you buy 2 tickets do you have to individually buy on 2 phones or can you buy both at once on one phone using the 2 different codes

Buy both on one phone. I put my code in and put a ticket in my basket then clicked buy another. Put MDC Jnr code in and got another ticket in the basket and then checked out both tickets.

And the buyer can transfer one ticket to a "guest" (MDC Jnr), but the guest cannot pass it on again. The buyer cannot transfer his own ticket.
The only other option is to sell them back to UEFA.
It's how some official "touts" work the system....obtain two tickets through UEFA, keep one, sell the other to whoever but charge a lot of money for it and recoup the cost with massive profit.
It's how I got a ticket for the EC Final for my other half, which all sounds very dodgy but it was delivered through the UEFA App at exactly the same time as mine (which was all above board) and non delivery of the ticket would have resulted in a total refund for us.
The only downside; it cost a lot of £££s!
-
Anyone ever gone to something like this on their lonesome?
I've got a ticket but am leaning 60/40 to not going, chatting with mates is all part of it.

I went to the 2010 League Cup final alone, and spent years going home and away alone. I would say if you want to go, go! If you like company and talking to people, you will find plenty of Villa fans about to chat to.

I went to Bruges away on my own, the one where Mings picked the ball up. Had a brilliant time. Ended up meeting a couple of people from here, including Mr Boiled Eggs, who I now go and watch DJ at my local.
I also went to Germany during the last Euros on my own. Didn’t have any tickets but just visited a couple of the fan parks. Also brilliant.
I have got mates. Honest.

Alright fuck it, I'll go.
Anyone found any decent transport plans?

I'm travelling solo and I'm on the 9am flight from LHR to Munich on matchday Meeting friends out there. If that works, feel free to drop a DM and travel with me.

6:55 from stanstead to Munich and then train. Looked at flying to Vienna but there wasn’t a lot in price wise and Munich seemed a bit more straightforward
-
Nice one, I'll check out dates times etc.
Train from Munich?

Well I hope very much you go. I presume at the very least it will go on sale to STH.

If anybody didn't get a code last week, they've just sent out more codes. First come first served, only Cat 3 tickets left.
-
As an employee of the club we have to go in a ballot to be able to have the opportunity to buy a ticket. - we were told there was zero chance for Istanbul.
Even though i have worked at the club, part time, for 41 years i accepted it due to the sheer volume of ST holders, the volume that go to all away games and the corporate allocation.
I am not sure if true but a couple of colleagues who worked the final said that there were quite a few corporate seats not taken up....thats a shame if real fans missed out
I have flights, hotels and trains booked - just need a ticket and am hopeful there will be some remaining as heard nothing as yet :-\
-
Considering the process for ticket collection against your passport reference (saw this on Villa on tour) i was told there were touts selling in Istanbul
Can anyone confirm this? If so how did they get around the process? I mean the buyers using it at the stadium not the touts
-
Didn't have to collect in Istanbul, all e-tickets on the UEFA Tickets app

What are you talking about? All tickets for Villa fans were delivered by the UEFA app as were tickets people purchased from UEFA or 3 parties as far as I’m aware. Any touts in Istanbul would have been selling tickets they could forward from the UEFA app to your own UEFA ticket account. So no one got around any process.

I received a code today by email but didn't see it until 3 hours later. When I logged in the tickets had gone. That happened to me for Istanbul too.

Keep trying! Sometimes these things change. Or they certainly do with Villa’s ticket website.

Cheers CH. A mate is offering me his ticket which apparently can be passed on via some UEFA witchcraft

Has anyone managed to find a reasonably priced hotel in Salzburg?!!

Define reasonable.
-
Has anyone managed to find a reasonably priced hotel in Salzburg?!!
I have booked a quadrupole room at a hotel next to the HBF for £260. £60.00 each but did that the day after getting home from Istanbul.
-
Has anyone managed to find a reasonably priced hotel in Salzburg?!!
Hotel, schmotel! We're flying into Munich on the evening of the 11th, staying overnight there as it's much cheaper, and then getting the train to Salzburg the next morning. We haven't bothered with any accommodation after the game. We're gonna "do an Istanbul", probably have a beer or two to celebrate the victory, then travel back to Munich after the game during the night, and head to the airport for our flights back to Brum at 10:25. It's a bit brutal, but it keeps the cost down!
-
How are you getting back to Munich after the game? Trains won't be running I don't think. I know Goughy's coaches are over there running a Munich > Salzburg coach so may be a possibility. Our flight back to Brum from Munich doesnt leave until 17:20 on Thursday so will have some time to get the train over although I read no need to go back into Munich HBf, can change on way and head to airport.

Yes I’ve booked my train same day and change at Munchen Ost

Not necessarily Istanbul but i was under the impression for the other Euro away games you had to appear at a predetermined location and show your passport and if it corresponded with the booking ref you were handed a ticket
Or is that wrong?
I assumed it was same for final - if not then my bad
-
For the conference league you mainly had to pick tickets up in person with passport, but last couple of years most have been E-tickets, think it was just go ahead eagles last season that was collect in person from memory

Yes it was wrong hookey but ticket pick up is now not a thing, they only did it once last season as someone said at Go Ahead Eagles and I suspect that was because they only had 400 odd tickets to hand out. I think feedback they’d had from the FAB was it was seen by most of us as a right pain the arse and meant the club had to ferry half the ticket office staff out each time to deal with it as well. I imagine they may do a cursory ticket pick up for European games maybe once a season to check people aren’t selling tickets on but I get the impression unless a host club/police specifically ask them to do it they won’t bother.
-
I work for an Austrian company - the main guy their told me that and I quote “ if you get the train from Munich to Salzburg, you stop at every shit hole in Germany”
As he is Austrian and regularly has to do that journey to get to the Head Office - I am sure he knows what he is talking about
That's rude! Rosenheim is a nice place, and you also have Chiemsee on the way.

I think, like the Premier League, UEFA want all tickets to be digital anyway so that may be a factor also. Saves all the faffing about too

Google Gemini tells me that trains run through the night:
The 03:39 AM train from Salzburg is arguably the sweet spot for your strategy:
00:00 – 03:00 AM: Celebrate the match, experience the late-night fan atmosphere in Salzburg's city centre, and slowly wander back to Salzburg Hauptbahnhof.
03:39 AM: Board the direct EuroCity/EuroNight train back to Germany.
05:28 AM: Roll into München Ost.
05:35 AM: Hop straight onto the S8 S-Bahn heading to the airport.
06:05 AM: Arrive at Munich Airport terminal.
I hope that this isn't one of those cases where AI got it wrong. Further investigation and confirmation is needed, methinks.

They haven’t announced a sell out yet have they?
-
05:28 AM: Roll into München Ost.
Ideal time to arrive in Munchen Ost and walk straight into the hip hop scene. Bars and clubs will be rammed at that time.

Has nobody invented quad hop yet? Maybe combining trip hop with disco?

Problem with trip hop is getting stuck in Portishead.

Not that I've seen. I've got a mate who's hanging in there waiting for one before I book transport.

For the final there was a few hundred extra tickets got released after families and club employees had taken theirs. There must be a chance that happens again!
-
Anyone know if this is a sell out? Not seen anything on the OS.
-
As anyone had any luck with the uefa app. I registered and received an email but bugger all since and the app is pretty useless to navigate
-
The UEFA app is ok. But given the size of the organization not at all what it should be. The FIFA app is, to put it mildly, utterly abysmal. One of the worst apps you’ll ever experience.
-
Just to get the ball rolling.
The way the club has decided on (yet to be announced) ticket allocations and the order of priority is absolutely wank and an insult to all of our fans.
Do we know which end/sections blocks we've been allocated?
I've got a chance in the UEFA ballot and want to try and get seats near the heaving masses of claret and blue.
Was stuck down by the Teutons in Istanbul.
-
Uefa have done their first lot of balloting.
-
Yep, I got selected but not taking them up
Do we know which end/sections blocks we've been allocated?
I don't think they have allocated ends yet. As the club allocated tickets are pretty much the same either end, I suspect they will allocate them out to the puchasers then. You might have to buy more expensive middle stands to gurantee "closeness".
-
How does it work with the returned tickets that dont get taken up, does uefa then do a second ballet ? keeping my fingers crossed as I have flights and hotel booked and still going anyway but hope to somehow get a ticket - bit surprised the villa allocation sold out in the first 3 tiers , i thought that some would filter further down to season ticket holders with 4 euro games attended (which is me)
-
Just got a ticket from a pal who got a couple through the lottery. Flying in / out of Munichm, staying near airport as will be working on thursday morning.
-
I’ve a hotel room in Salzburg I won’t be using. It’s a twin room about a mile or so from the RB Arena. PM me for details, it’s booked 11th August for 2 nights.
-
Will we be playing in the same shirt as the Europa final?

Scored a ticket today, sold a kidney for the flights.

Unlikely I would have thought.

No

Probs be pretty sweaty and beery by now.

Looks like there was a second draw through the uefa ballet as got an email today saying i had the chance to buy 2 despite not being selected in the original draw, - presumably not everybody selected purchased tickets, or just bought 1 of the 2 offered. - so thats tickets sorted, flights and hotels awere sorted ages ago so I can relax. First european away game since i went to athletico madrid by myself in the John Gregory era on the coach , thankfully flying this time and with company.
-

Had to chuck away the top I wore watching the Final, as someone had got red wine all over it (not me, don't drink wine).

Mine is now a treasured possession. It’s one I hardly wear, so I will keep it nice.

I am part of that company - i too had a 2nd message from UEFA site but i had already secured a ticket through the club. I am reliably informed that the club allocation has now sold out

Good news Jon. Hope you enjoy it and have a great time.

Afternoon all, I cant make the super cup now, I was successful in the ballot through villa and purchased the 50.00 euro tickets, i have looked today to resell on the uefa portal, although i can see my ticket and seat details etc, when I go to relist it says no ticket to list, did anyone have the same issue if they had to do this for the Europa final, maybe its still to early to list?
-
I'm after one for my mate but no idea how it works about reselling, either back to UEFA or someone else

Actually, if you are looking to get rid, my friend will buy it from you.
-
Would you say that if my friend hasn't got a code by now, it's extremely unlikely?
-
I missed out in the lottery and haven't heard anything either, but haven't given up hope yet. Still have a room booked in Salzburg. I'm going to Gladbach though.
I may jump on the train Salzburg anyway even if I don't get tickets, it's a really nice town and I haven't been there for ages.
