FROM PRAVDA
Season tickets for 2017/18 go on sale on Saturday February 18 from 9am – with an Early Bird window available until Friday April 7.
All prices have been frozen across the stadium for adults.
Price bands for juniors have been reworked, making it cheaper for more with U16s starting from £3 per match and U21s from £6 per match.
Adult prices start from £14 per match. A family of four can attend from just £28 per match.
Dr Tony Xia is determined to lead the club back to the top, with Steve Bruce looking to turn things around on the pitch.
Be here for the key moments next season as the focused pair aim for a vibrant Villa Park – and a successful era.
Chief Executive Keith Wyness said: “There’s no better feeling for a family than spending quality time together – and we’d love to see Villa Park full of dads, mums and kids cheering on the team.
“We here at Aston Villa strongly believe that football is for the whole family – and support of the club goes down from generation to generation.
“We want to create moments that matter next season – and sharing them with your nearest and dearest will hopefully live long in the memory for years to come.
“We’re determined to do this and we want you here for that journey.”
As a season ticket holder, not only do you enjoy a great price for your seat, you also get a number of additional benefits.
We have a range of new - and existing benefits - to look forward to in the coming season including an all-new loyalty scheme.
We’ll also honour our commitment to providing the first home cup game of 2017/18 free to 2016/17 season ticket holders that renew.
Please CLICK HERE to check out all the details surrounding 2017/18 season tickets.
Our current season ticket holders will also have a personalised website with your key moments from the season so far.
We’ll email you with your link.
Make sure you share your favourite Villa Park moments using #MyVillaMoments.

There is a picture of the stadium with the prices as well...........No idea how you get that on here sorry
-
On sale tomorrow morning - watch you don't get trampled in the rush!
I may have misread it* but it seems the Early Bird price offer is that the price is frozen but basically they're going up if you wait until the summer.
We do get the first home cup match free again though! Shouldn't that be two now?
So if I renew by beginning of April I get it for the same "bargain" £535 I paid for this season, or if I wait until the close season like I normally do I'll get ripped off even more.
Robbing b******s!
*I withdraw all the above moaning if someone tells me I've read it wrong!
-
Apologies someone else started a thread while I was typing.
-
"and support of the club goes down from generation to generation" at this rate he wont be wrong.

Thanks Mr Sox.........

Bit worried that armed students are getting in on the cheap but pencil me in for twelvety and I will bring my apostles minus Judas who is a back stabbing bastard. Ta.

Also, two 15 year olds who have a couple of kids, get a discounted rate

Wait till Channel 5 hear of this outrage.
-
Think they should have given at least two cup matches and a reduction on last years prices. Also a proviso that if we get relegated we would get x% back
-
To be fair some significant discounts. I have 2 full 3 kids in l7 this year was 1200 next year opened up family ticket so can get for about 900. The 9 month interest free though has been shortened
-
Typical Villa ...we only get half the info .......
So we purchase now and pay same as last season but what to prices change to then? That is required so an informed decision can be made
Will prices change for Division One football if our free fall carries on?
New loyalty scheme ....but what is it?
No element of lost home cup ticket factored into prices
There is little incentive there to buy a season ticket other than keep your seat all season
-
Trying to sell season tickets at those prices when we could be potentially in div 1 next season
You couldn't make it up could you
-
I see the upper trinity is still closed, not banking on a last gasp promotion push then.
-
I don't get the early bird incentive. They're saying prices are frozen, but only if you buy before 7th April? So in which case, they're not freezing them at all. Have I got that right?
-
The date of 7th april is very early and it insinuates they will be more expensive after
They are definitely missing a trick as from memory our prices didnt reduce much with relegation and plenty wont renew so why not give a decent reduction instead of having 12k empty seats per game?
-
I don't mind a price freeze but having to pay for it in April is ridiculous.
-
I don't mind a price freeze but having to pay for it in April is ridiculous.
My 9 months interest free has just ended, if i renew today i start paying for next season by mid march which is bizarre
-
There should be a price cut really. It'd be a nice bit of decent PR as well as being an apology to the fans for the state of the club.
-
I've noticed more and more this season that clubs are offering concessions to Over 60's which has been great for me as over 60 but i note that Villa won't budge from offering concessions to Over 65's.
This could be my last season as i basically struggle to afford it. Plus we're shite!!!!

Not really bizarre - it probably makes quite good sense for them not to allow you time to get used to having that extra money in your pocket. You might decide you like it!

With the retirement age rising, shouldn't the age concession level be going up rather than down ?
-
I have had three or four calls in the last week - mercifully I've missed all of them

Snap....i bought a 3 yr deal to save me more money

Interesting that they say prices will rise if we don't take up the early-bird offer. We were promised that we'd pay the same for our seat next season if we took up the 16/17 early-bird offer - proof. (http://web.archive.org/web/20160425100146/http://www.avfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10265~5513104,00.html?) I'll renew after, and I'll be holding them to that promise.

I've just checked and I brought mine on the 21st May so my price is fixed. I wonder if they've forgotten that they offered that deal last season?
-
I've renewed mine and bought my daughter one the first time. Its a good deal for kids compared to last year, just £69 but if I was just an adult Id be pretty pissed off with a price freeze that lasts for just 2 months with the threat of it going up. I can see some very Dissapointing attendances next season.
-
im 63 this year what if i get a friend whos 66 to get me a season ticket would they know?

It wouldn't surprise me - has anyone asked the ticket office about this yet?
Also, if you think about that offer, we were told that if we bought early last year, the price would freeze for this year, but they have now been frozen for everyone so our "early-booking bonus" has been taken away from us. They should offer us something extra in return.

Has anyone had an email from the club about Season Tickets being on sale or did this just pop up on Pravda ?

I had one earlier today.
-
Has anyone had an email from the club about Season Tickets being on sale or did this just pop up on Pravda ?
I saw it on Facebook last night.
-
I had an email about this yesterday. I've looked further into it on Pravda (https://www.avfc.co.uk/page/SeasonTicketInformation/) and it looks like we can renew our existing seats in the 'Second Renewal & Sales window' between May 8th and June 9th, but if you scroll down to the bottom of that page one of the footnotes states: "***Regardless of divisional status, prices will increase in the second sales window", so it looks like they've reneged on last season's commitment. I think I'll ring the club tomorrow and find out for sure.
-
Regardless of divisional status - I suppose that's in case of a late run....in either direction. Cheap for Premiership, not so cheap for 3rd Division. Walsall on a Friday night anyone?
-
Think this decision is going to massively back fire, whilst I applaud an 'early bird' it actually has to be an offer not patronising nonsense such as a price freeze.
The fact there was no home cup game is partly because of the luck of the draw but also partly because of the utterly gutless showing at Luton, why not knock the £10-£15 for that off next years ticket?
Just think this is a wasted opportunity, had the early bird been 10% reduction for next year with the proviso that should we get promoted next year the prices will return to this years prices for the following season would have been fair & shown a little imagination....this strikes me as complacent & taking us all for granted.
Feel more distant from our club by the week, thought we were gonna fight this mediocrity together, clearly not....
-
I must admit to feeling disappointed with the prices for the season ticket renewals, I understand that the Dr is now ploughing millions of his own cash each month??? to keep the club going at it's current level, but I honestly thought the early bird scheme would last until at least the end of May.
It will be interesting to see how many of our current season ticket holders take up the early bird offer. I am sure that if it is a large number of supporters then Wyness and Co. will be quick enough to tell us, if the take up is not great then they may just keep it quiet.
I will wait until I see what is happening at the club before deciding whether to renew again.

We are paying the price for signing players on big wages when we havent got the sky money to back it up
Good luck trying to attract new st holders in june and july
Help miaow us up to mid table by paying more than you would have in the pl. The upper trinity will contain cardboard cut outs to create the illusion of a full stadium. Any spare cut outs will be utilised behind the many bars

I hate that stadium plan. It makes the ground look so mis-shaped and proportionally all over the shop. Puts my OCD into meltdown. That reminds me I need to sort out my cutlery draw asap.
-
I rang the club about it today. Felt a bit sorry for the lad in the ticket office who did well to 'appreciate my concerns' but there wasn't a lot he could do about it. He suggested if I wanted to raise it as a formal complaint to either write or email the club, which I will do tomorrow. The email address is customercomplaints@avfc.co.uk if anyone else is interested
-
I will be emailing and will have a look into whether this is false advertising and can be reported to the advertising standards authority.

The price has been fixed, they just chose not to say how long for.

Oh but I would argue they did - they said it would be fixed for the whole of the 2017/18season - therefore, regardless of when it is bought, the price is fixed for that season.

Where did it say for the whole of the season? Snide as it is we are getting it at the same fixed price albeit if you buy it before a certain date

We’ll also honour our commitment to providing the first home cup game of 2017/18 free to 2016/17 season ticket holders that renew.
This suggests that new ST holders won't get a free home cup game

We might get two for our run in the Checkatrade Trophy.

Already looking forward to the away trip to see Villa take on Sunderland U21s

They are thankfully stopping that shit next season.

In case no-one has seen it, the club have said on the OS that in response to comments from season ticket holders, anyone who paid for their Season Ticket before May 31st last year will have the price of their ticket frozen until the first home game of the season.
-
They should be frozen for anyone wanting one. Putting up the price for a new ST holder after another wank season is hardly going to entice anyone.
-

After raising this by phone with the ticket office I sent a lengthy formal complaint by email about this earlier this week, and included the url of the page that made the offer last April. I had an initial reply from Lee Preece and was waiting for a fuller response from Lynne O'Reardon (Head of Ticketing). Obviously others have done the same. Good to see the club is listening.
-
I haven't had a season ticket for years (think 2006 season was my last one just before I headed up to Uni) but I just look at the prices now and shake my head, I remember the Trinity costing 500 + quid when we were riding high in the prem so we could get away with it then but the same price to sit in the Holte and watch bottom half championship football. Since when has behind the goal been an incredibly expensive place to watch football?
Our crowds have held up well this season....only a couple of games under 30k and the Holte is I think always a good guide into how many season tickets we've sold and most games this season it's been more packed than in Premier league.
I just don't see what's the incentive to get a season ticket nowadays bar it's what you've always done and it seems that goodwill is what the club relies on given the lack of incentives they offer.
Think our crowds will start off low next season and then hopefully improve as our form does.
It's about time the team stepped up and started delivering on the pitch. Next season imo is our most important for a long time, I really think it will shape the next decade for us and maybe even define the ownership.
-
BBHi both,
Got this in an email from Afam Lowe at Villa today....
To clarify and in response to a number of comments from Season Ticket Holders, supporters that renewed their 2016/17 season ticket before 31st May 2016 will have their price frozen beyond the Early Bird deadline of 7th April 2017 and will remain frozen until the first home league game of the 2017/18 season in August (date to be confirmed). Your existing seat will be held until 5pm on Friday 9th June. We will continue to monitor feedback and act accordingly.
I just wanted to let you know as we have seen supporters querying this. Please hold until we go out later today but when we do feel free to address any of those concerns in your forum.
-
I've no idea when I renewed mine last season. They shouldn't be putting the prices up for anyone though. Absolutely fucking ludicrous.
-
If a band / musician / comedian were so shit that they could only ever fill 75% of a venue and even people who'd bought tickets didn't turn up, they wouldn't get away with putting prices up for the next tour on the promise that they might be better.
Or tell you what, sorry it's been crap tonight but buy a ticket for tomorrow night before this show finishes and you can have it for the same price!
-
The main reason I get a ST is access to away tickets. Not sure I'd bother otherwise.
-

Which games would you have struggled to get away tickets to if you hadn't got a season ticket?
Given the allocations we get for this league I'd imagine you'd be o.k if you just went to most home games.

You're joking arnt you?..There have been games that have sold out in 24 hours this season. Its only the last couple of games that are struggling to sell due to the realisation that the season is over.
-
There's been 3 where you could have got an away ticket without a ST. Norwich, Barnsley and Newcastle. Plus Spurs in the cup. I don't think there are any others.
-
It's only really the local games and novelty ones like Brentford that have sold out fast....I was on about the ones where we've had massive allocations like PNE and Barnsley and Wigan in a few weeks where you get massive allocations, I went to the PNE game and I don't have a season ticket and I could get a ticket for Wigan no problem if I wanted.
It's a difficult one. I certainly don't want to criticise season ticket holders but it always gives me a wry smile when people blindly forked out 400-500 quid every year without fail and then criticise the club continually and all the decisions it makes.
Maybe maybe picking and choosing the games (for example going to all the weekend games but missing some of the midweek games) would force the club maybe to not take the loyalty for granted and start making some better decisions on and off the pitch.
I think the club is quite complacent judging by these prices that they think they'll have 25k renewing no problem this season, I think they'll be in for a shock this time. Last summer the takeover gave a fresh sense of optimism which I can understand and imagine our sales picked up as a result, not sure what the sweetner will be this time as we've done the splash shed loads of money act too many times now.
-

PNE for sure.
-
I did wonder about Preston, Blackburn and Wigan will be as well but it's still only 6 or 7 out of 23 aways. As for ST there's no way we have 25K, i'd guess it's around 19K which makes the pricing daft to me.
-
I think any fan who does the 23 aways this season or even just 20 actually deserves a free season ticket for next season given how we've approached and played most of them. Preston was enough for me not to bother with another one this season (I usually managed 4-5 a season in the prem) and apart from Reading and Brighton I haven't really missed much. I dread to think how much it's costed per goal.

You're kidding aren't you? Rotherham (2,600 allocation) sold out at ST+5 away games!
-
I don't have a season ticket but managed to get tickets for the Reading, Brighton and QPR games. I'm obviously a lucky charm as I haven't seen us lose away this season!

Yep. Villa cash member was enough for those games.

Just got one for Huddersfield although showing sold-out on OS?? First away this season as I am working in Leeds.

Has the queue for ST's shrunk at all? I went down first thing but it was out of the car park and halfway down Witton Lane.

Your so right, this season most matches have been sold out away - I am a ST holder but have had to beg for most of my tickets as they have sold out at ST + a number of games. Luckily people who are in the away scheme have helped me out.
-

I can just about see the end of the queue and I'm 75 miles away

Just had a chat with Lynne O'Reardon. She confirmed that people who paid for their ST before 31st May last year will now have until first game of the season to obtain next season's ST at the same price as last year. BUT it's worth noting that while you have until the first game to get the ST at the same price you can only guarantee/renew your actual seat by 6th June, before the relocation day kicks in. So if, like me, you want the same seat at the same price you need to do it by 6th June (although on that personalised web page email I've just read it actually says by 9th June)
-

Probably a return, see you there!
-
I am not paying for a season ticket now. And if they put the prices up after that they can go fuck themselves for my money.

I suspect that's how a lot of people feel. If they put the prices up next year, we could see attendances drop to around 25,000.
-
I agree, I am not paying for a season ticket, until later this summer, I honestly thought after the dross that we have put up with for the last 6 seasons, that anyone who is a current season ticket should have until 30th June to renew at the early bird price.
-
I think I'm going to get 3 season tickets for next season. Only ever had one in 1981-2 so feel it's about time to get one and one for my 18 and 7 years old sons! Its in the blood!
Mind you I not sure how many I'll make living in Preston now! ;D
-
Just got one for Huddersfield although showing sold-out on OS?? First away this season as I am working in Leeds.
Probably a return, see you there!
Would be great to catch up at last!

They should have priced for loyalty for adults as well. I applaud charging cheap prices for kids but someone has to take the buggers to the game.

This is good publicity, well done to Kodjia and whoever came up with the idea...

-
Good to see Kodjia's English coming on well, he's only been living here for nearly two years!
-
Kodjia is about the only one they could send out and know that he wouldn't get a round of fucks when the door opens.
-
Do you think they could send Denis Mortimer to deliver mine on his next visit to Merseyside

I want Ellesmere Port born Graham Turner to deliver my season ticket..

Aguero still needed a translator in his BBC interview tonight which I found incredible given he joined in August 2011.

I thought it funnier that the questions were put to him in English which he understood yet chose to reply in his native tongue

I think a lot of people understand a foreign language better than they speak it. I could possibly understand quite a few questions in French or Spanish for example, but wouldn't be able to answer much beyond yes or no.
I also noticed that when Gestede translated for Kodja earlier in the season, Kodja was smiling whilst questions were being asked and Rudy was talking so it looks like he also understands English pretty well, but just wasn't confident to answer in English.
If I was abroad I think it would take me a fair while before I felt confident to go on national television and speak that language without thinking I'd probably say something rude or ridiculous by mistake that'd be replayed on various tv programmes for years to come!

When renewing online, can I use my remaining VillaCash balance or do part Credit Card, part VillaCash payments have to be done over the phone ?
-
Sorry if this has been covered before but does anyone know why the club hold certain seats to sell on a match by match basis rather than letting you buy them as a season ticket?
-

I think you have to use your villa cash over the phone. I'm sure i did last year.

In which stand/part of the ground are these seats
-
We are currently in Witton Lane P5 and were looking to move to P4 or C2 in the Trinity and the seats I mentioned to the ticket office were Match day seats only !!
-
I'm not sure what is going on, I went to renew and it is saying my seat has already been sold....
anyone else had this happen ?

I keep avoiding their calls on early bird ST renewal but had a great text on the way home from the Wednesday game thanking me for my support.

Yeah same here. They are smooth operators.

It's probably a glitch in the system that is saying it's already sold when actually it's already sold to you! I'd give them a call.
-
didn't charge me £2.00 transaction fee - they are slipping up!
-
When does the early bird expire? First week of April?
-
7th April.
-

I think you have to use your villa cash over the phone. I'm sure i did last year.
Yep, that's what I had to do. Surely they could have a tick-box online to say "Deduct Villa Cash balance" ?
-
Renewed last week :)
-
Tried to renew online last night but my bank blocked it as 'suspicious activity'.
Although I have completed a similar transaction at around this time of year for many years, I kind of take their point!
-
imagine what it would have done had you referenced Birmingham city
-
renewed yesterday! UTV.
-
Might renew this weekend
-
Done it now. Sentenced to another season.
-
Renewed the other week- gone for a cheap seat at £14 a game.
-
How early do I have to arrive at the ticket office if I want to renew tomorrow? Don't they start just selling tickets for the day's match after a certain time?
-
How early do I have to arrive at the ticket office if I want to renew tomorrow? Don't they start just selling tickets for the day's match after a certain time?
Depends how busy it gets, if it gets busy they only sell match tickets from about 13:30pm/14:00pm and it may depend on how you want to pay for the season ticket i.e Zebra takes longer than a card/cash transaction and dont forget to use any unused Villa Cash !!!!!!!!

Of course it takes longer with a zebra, it confuses the barcode readers.
-
They are only selling season tickets til 1pm tomorrow then it switches to Norwich tickets only.
-
Cheers. I thought we were paying direct debit which would have necessitated a trip to the ticket office. We are paying in one go though so should be easy enough over the phone.
-
Trying to renew over the phone and as soon as I press an option I get the message 'the other person has cleared'!
Just sorted it - apparently you have to wait and listen through all the options and then wait for her to say thank you before you choose the option! I am now waiting in a queue. :-(
-
I phoned on Saturday morning and got everything sorted in five minutes. They couldn't have been more helpful. They also confirmed that 2016-17 season ticket holders will get our first home cup game free as we didn't get one this year.
-
Renewed mine earlier today. Very long wait on the phone too. The process was quick enough but and it's a big but that bugs me, the charge for using a card to pay for the transaction. It's not the amount they charge it's the principle and no, everyone doesent charge an admin fee now. I requested that my thoughts were passed on to all concerned.
-
Unless I've missed something, this glitch that forces you to call to redeem Villa cash rather than be able to do it online is all very dated to say the least. People don't have time to sit on hold for ages just to pay a bill.
-
I don't think I had to pay for using a card. £840 for two, less £12 Villa Cash = £828.
-

Nor me - I am pretty sure there's not supposed to be a charge on season tickets.
-
Renewed mine at the weekend. No problems. Had one ever since the Dr Jo season. Is there no cure for my addiction?

I did question it. The only way you don't get charged an admin fee is by paying cash I was informed. I kind of understand it for a credit card but a debit card? Check your statement and see if there's a £2 admin fee.
-
I've renewed and also bought my 8 year old his first ST. Poor kid.
-
I have - I was charged £419.44 - which was £420 with my 56p of Villa cash taken off!
-
Renewed mine at the weekend. No problems. Had one ever since the Dr Jo season. Is there no cure for my addiction?
I'm right behind you. Had one since Big Ron's return. I'm 32 now.
-
My first season ticket was for 76-77 just £10 which was an initiative all wm clubs followed for juniors
-
Would love to renew mine but no one is answering the phones. Been on hold for 45 minutes.
Surely a dedicated season ticket renewal line can't be too much to ask for?
-

Whilst waiting, still, just thought they could also have a "Blues game only line" as I suspect that is what is clogging up the lines. That way you those fans can be tested on their dedication to going by waiting on the phone listening to the worst music of all time.😡
-
20 minutes on hold now... just to redeem my Villa Cash!
-
Surely it will make sense for them to extend the "Early Bird" deadline until after the Blose game, lots of people might just give up trying to buy if they're being kept on hold for ages.
Can whoever is going to the next club meeting (Dave? Amfy?) suggest this please?
-
20 minutes on hold now... just to redeem my Villa Cash!
Same here...ringing to renew my mate's ST for him, as he has a proper job and can't spare an hour waiting on hold. This really is poor.
-
I'd previously taken my villa cash so I simply renewed online. Very easy. Finally reached 65 so it only cost £235, a rare benefit of getting older!
-
I felt slightly dirty but renewed nonetheless.
Online and with 9 months finance so it was really quite easy.
-
Gave in an renewed earlier.
-
By the time I eventually got through I'd probably run up a bigger phone bill than my meagre Villa Cash credit
-
I called today and gave up after 40 mins
-
I must have been lucky I rang at 9am at got straight through with all the pre-amble. I did use the old ticket office number though.
-
30mins in the end. I always use the old number too!
-
I called today and gave up after 40 mins
Same here however I only waited 25 minutes.
-
My experience today, rang at 9.00, got financed season ticket, finished call 9.12, Result !
-
I have the princely sum of seven British Pounds and ten new pence on my VillaCash. Given that I've got next to no chance of ringing the ticket office to renew, and want to do it online, any suggestions as to what I can splurge it on? Do they sell anything for that much?
**in light of another recent post, I need not for axle grease nor allen keys. Probably alright for a bit for nitrile gloves, too.
-
Used the old fashioned postal service. Just sent my finance forms back to Zebra £637 for an adult and under 16 in the lower Holte nine months interest free, with some money off using Villa cash
-
I gave up hanging on line and drove down there this morning...queued for 30 minutes at ticket office as well...so job done...£25.30 cash back as well.
-
They don't half take some long fag breaks in that ticket office.
In the last 10 days I've had four failed attempts to get through on the phone, one was a 45 min wait, today I had to hang up after half an hour. Why on earth they haven't been able to work the cash back so you can renew online I can't fathom. Over £2k I'm trying to spend with them on our 4 tickets. It'll have to wait now, bollocks to them.
They'll need to put these renewal dates back to the summer if ever we gat back to reaching cup semis & finals.
-
Renewed last night, took about 10 minutes online. Bring on next season!!
-
Went to ticket office as had to get some Blues tickets for mates anyway. 30 minutes, all done but I think it was lucky I went before 1 o`clock.
-
I rang to renew with Villa Cash and was on hold for 20 minutes then got cut off followed by a hold of nearly half an hour before someone called Liz was very helpful.
-
Keith Wynnes on Twitter says 10,000 sold already, that's 10,000 up on this time last year.
-
3 season tickets renewed online today. Can't wait til next season.
-
It's entirely possible that we are 10,000 up on last year given that, as far as I recall, there was no "Early Bird" incentive for purchasing early last season. I'd expect us to sell a few more over than we managed last season but I'd be amazed if we ended up selling anything like 10,000 more.

I am right in thinking that the 'early bird' deadline today with price freeze is just for the 9 months finance? The actual price freeze continues until the actual deadline for your stand?
-
I am right in thinking that the 'early bird' deadline today with price freeze is just for the 9 months finance? The actual price freeze continues until the actual deadline for your stand?
That's right for existing season ticket holders, because we have a price freeze from last year still in place.
For new season ticket holders, the price freeze does end now.

Also, I think that although the price freeze for existing ST holders has been extended to the start of the season, there's still a date in June(?) that's the cut off for retaining your current seat
It does all seem a bit overcomplicated

I'd send them an email using the details below, unless there is something in the shop you particularly want to buy. If it's their fault you couldn't spend it, I'd be surprised if they weren't willing to give you the money back or add it on to next year's Villa Cash for you.

Maybe. But from a customer service point of view, it would be pretty poor form not to allow you to utilise accrued funds, when the reason for not doing so was that you were unable to get through to them on the phone.
Send them an email, worst they can do is say no.

Villa cash can only be used against match tickets and hospitality/tour events.I am sure they have canned the option to use at the shop or online.

I've just had a text which has a link to a Survey Monkey site. You can leave your client reference there before 11:59pm tonight and the club will contact you and you will still get the Early Bird deal.

I've just spotted the season ticket prices now the Early Bird offer has ended, £30 & £35 increases - how the hell can they justify that?
I know a lot of us renewed early but that's a piss take with those prices.
£570 for my seat now, which tells you what the early bird price will be next year.
-

if they have put up the cost of my seat they can forget me renewing.
I will pick and choose my games, although after a while of not going you soon get out of the habit, so probably wont see much of me.

If you already have a season ticket your renewal prices is frozen until the deadline for your stand to hold on to your seat. Usually early June. Of course this news does mean it's probably going up for 2018/19, but for now you can still renew at the same price for 17/18.

The price freeze only applies if you renewed before 31st May last year (last season's 'special offer'). If you renewed after that date and didn't take advantage of the 'Early Bird' offer you'll pay the new price. Fortunately for me I took advantage of the offer last season so for my seat in K4 I'll pay the same as this year (£535) rather than the increased price (£570), and to keep my seat I need to renew before 9th June.
-
Glad we took advantage of the early bird offer but as ours has now gone up to £627 it'll have to be some season on the pitch next year to convince me to renew.

Renewed today.
-
Also renewed today, dont really know why if I'm honest.
-
Also renewed today, dont really know why if I'm honest.
Because it's just wrong to moan about the quality of something if you haven't paid for it.
-
renewed a few weeks ago - overall really enjoyed going to VP again on a regular basis.
-
Renewed a while ago and glad I did. Season has been over for less than a week and weekends already feel different. Remarkable really considering some of the performances, but I really enjoy the whole occasion of going to VP on a match day.
-
I miss going to VP and the away games too. Nothing in Australia really substitutes for it. I've been at Suncorp stadium and seen Brisbane roar win the a- league grand final on two occasions, but it doesn't anywhere near compare to a packed Villa Park when the crowd is sparked up.
-
Finally renewed today, decided when the prices were launched to wait until near the end of the window because I thought the whole pricing structure was very complacent and relied upon majority renewing through habit....which in the end I did
To laud a price freeze like they were doing us a favour just didn't rock it with me....and whilst I understand the need to entice families and young fans as the future it would be nice if just occasionally they considered general adults who buy their own ticket! 5 years of dross.... made this summer the first time that I actually thought do I or don't I? Or even worse can I be bothered?
-

when are next season's ST's posted out?
Towards the end of July I was told.
-
Sounds like they are cutting it fine if there are the same number of dud cards as last year. Perhaps that was just an omen.
-
Renewed a couple of weeks ago. Just a reminder - although the 'special offer' to buy at last year's price (if you renewed before end of May last year) runs to the start of the season, people only have until this Friday to renew the same seat. Relocation day Saturday and then on general sale
-

Went down the Villa today to move my ST seat. They've already sold 18k, which they said was the highest amount (by June) for a number of years.
Oh and in the Mail yesterday Small Heath were gloating because they've just broken through the magical 5k sales mark.

Is that that they have sold 5 thousand, or sold seat 5K, which takes total sales up to 115...

1. They have to pay the installment watcher to make sure your installment is going through.
2. You are getting fleeced.
You pays your money and you takes your choice.
Maximising Revenue Streams is the thought which comes to mind.

Spoke to the ticket office today, they still haven't finalised the Away Ticket scheme yet although they say it will be 'imminently'.

Small time club. They will have a million excuses for those stats though.
"Da Vile get 13000 fans from everywhere apart from Brum."
"I work shifts at the Rover , cant have a season ticket."
Deep down they know what they spout is bullshit,it probably compounds their hatred for all things Villa.

To be fair if you pay anything in this life by instalments there is an added charge. Car insurance charges on average an extra 15-20% to the price. I am not trying to be pious but if paying by instalments was free everyone would be on it.

After being a member of the Away Scheme since it's inception I've now been thrown out because I missed the deadline - being on holiday in Mallorca.
Well that's it for me and this two bob Championship club.
I'm almost wishing that bad things happen to them (other than having SB as the manager).
Feckety bye everyone.

I'm sure a tear-stained relegation post will work better than an email to the club.

I've read Levico's post 3 times now and I'm still puzzled as to why someone would post such a thing.

You'll be back.

Levico, can I have your reference for the Burton game?
-
Do you mean that you've been thrown out because you returned more tickets than you are allowed?
I'm holding my letter and I have until Friday, I don't see why you would have anything different.
-
Would agree might be an inconvenience for the poster but if you every away game your still going to get your tickets
