Let me guess. 40 inch flares with 6 inch high waist band multi colour pocket flaps buttoned down on both side worn with 4 inch hign brown and cream platforms?
amazing....are you Derran Brown ?
Part of me wants us to play them, and to batter the fuckers, and I mean fucking humiliate them by 5 or 6, to show them their rightful place.
However, the thought of losing to them twice in cups in the same season (the luck these fuckers are having, it would be possible) makes me wary. So i'll settle for one of Brighton/Leyton O/Sheff Wed/Crawley at home.
Can we have Blackburn at home please? ;D
Can we have Blackburn at home please? ;D
To be honest, I still don't think we can entirely rule it out.

I don't know what you're all getting excited about it is bound to be Small Heath v Crawley, Man U v Villa.
I hope we draw Andy Murray. He's shit.
I hope we draw Andy Murray. He's shit.
I think we'll get Brighton at Villa Park.
02 Brighton & Hove Albion | vs | 11 Wolverhampton Wanderers or Stoke City |
08 Leyton Orient | vs | 12 Notts County or Manchester City |
09 Burnley | vs | 03 Bolton Wanderers or Wigan Athletic |
04 Arsenal | vs | 05 West Ham United or Nottingham Forest |
14 Aston Villa | vs | 13 Reading |
16 Sheffield Wednesday | vs | 05 Fulham or Tottenham Hotspur |
01 Crawley Town | vs | 10 Small Heath Alliance |
07 Manchester United | vs | 06 Everton or Chelsea |
Sheff Wed away please.Eh..draw has been made and we have Reading at home silly!
We'll get Man Utd, Blackburn or Rapid Vienna
Bet we get Stoke or someone horrible
Yeah, Crawley, just so Coops (Dave, not Injury) can have his revenge by selling their stupid fans loads of H&Vs instead of the matchday programme.
It would be up tp us whether Carew played or not.
Man utd v crawley , u can see it
Man utd v crawley , u can see it
The Villa team that will go to Eastlands will not be the same mentally as the one that got hammered there.

We might as well have lost yesterday and given our players a rest in 3 weeks. No chance of us winning there adn even if we did Arsenal, Man United, Chelsea and possibly Spurs would be waiting for us in th QF. Gutted, absolutely gutted. :'(

Fuck me. Grow some balls. I hope our players don't waive the white flag as readily as you're doing.

Come on, that draw was bloody awful, and Blues are jammy bastards.
I would imagine Man C v Notts Co will be 8/9 Feb won't it? Someone was saying the replay scehduled for 19/20 Feb...?...No that is an International date.......England are playing Denmark
Fuck me. Grow some balls.
Well, you're no romantic but I must admit there's something intriguing about your direct approach. Meet me behind the ice rink for some fingering.

I hope you're a bird. If not, I'll have to pass thanks all the same. And why the ice rink? Oh I get it. You think I'm Canadian or something - right?
Thats a tv slot for us then.No chance unless there is an empty slot after all the London clubs and Manu!
Any particular reason why the Knuckle Draggers ALWAYS get easy teams at HOME?Yeah but we were lucky last season.
It is beyond ridiculous how lucky they're in draws. Why do neanderthals who play hoofball get rewarded?
Any particular reason why the Knuckle Draggers ALWAYS get easy teams at HOME?Because it's a random draw?

It wasn't necessarily a serious offer.
Just like it was random draw when we should of played Middlesboro instead of United 3 years ago because the person drawing the balls couldn't read?Any particular reason why the Knuckle Draggers ALWAYS get easy teams at HOME?Because it's a random draw?

I'm sorry, they've got very very lucky with cup draws. It's sad they get rewarded for being Birmingham City. It can't be random if they get easy draws at home all the time.It can. And it is.
Sit draw, but we can beat Citeh.......we have no Bent this time though.
It's Blues' season this one.

Fucking Coventry, why didn't you beat those dickheads!
A potentially tough draw, but far from impossible, especially with Makoun and Bradley likely to be available.
Sit draw, but we can beat Citeh.......we have no Bent this time though.
It's Blues' season this one.
In 97 didn't Boro lose two cup finals and get relegated? Would it be more painful for them if they did rather than just get relegated? If they get shafted in both it might be enjoyable.
Especially if the FA Cup one is by us. Come on people! Where is the optimism? Why can it be Blues' year but not ours? We are solid at the back, getting better in midfield and up front we'll get goals from.... Somewhere.
It can't be random if they get easy draws at home all the time.
Quite apart from the fact that it's one of the worst draws we could have got, it'll mean another midweek evening trip and the associated travel problems. County's website confirms the reply date as 5th Round weekend. It wont be played midweek as City have Europa cup games.....12th of March

We woz robbed by a balls up quite literally.
It can't be random if they get easy draws at home all the time.So what you are saying is that for some surreal and unfathomable reason the FA and The Football League have conspired with a host of "celebrities" to award Birmingham City with easy home draws in this year's cup competitions?
Fulham 2-0 Spurs. Two pens for Murphy, and Dawson sent off

The ball does 24. It's a shit looking number 4 but it's a 4 nonetheless.
Fulham 2-0 Spurs. Two pens for Murphy, and Dawson sent off
Would have been good for us if we hadn't just been given the worst possible draw. Still good to Spurs out though.
I'd have rather had two shape shifting lizards do the draw, than Ruddock, who seems to be morphing into Geoff Capes and that Happy Shopper David Baddiel. It can't be random if they get easy draws at home all the time.So what you are saying is that for some surreal and unfathomable reason the FA and The Football League have conspired with a host of "celebrities" to award Birmingham City with easy home draws in this year's cup competitions?
Admit it Dave, you're one othe suckers that believe the draw is live. It's all done with cgi controlled by the Triads.
Indeed. The main issue with this piss-poor conspiracy theory is that Middlesbrough's number 25 ball was then brought out later in the draw.Which didn't actually happen.Just like it was random draw when we should of played Middlesboro instead of United 3 years ago because the person drawing the balls couldn't read?Any particular reason why the Knuckle Draggers ALWAYS get easy teams at HOME?Because it's a random draw?

Unless Mr Situation 'rly' thinks that they put two numbers 25s in the bowl just to mean a higher chance of the tedium of yet another Villa vs. Man Utd FA Cup game. And why would they do that?
Fulham or Tottenham v Bolton or WiganThis must be one of the quickest predictions to go spectacularly wrong.
Man Utd v Crawley
Everton or Chelsea v Reading
Leyton Orient v Arsenal
Birmingham City v Sheff Wed
Stoke City v Brighton
Notts County or Man City v Aston Villa
West Ham v Burnley
West Ham Blues Stoke and the top 5 left in then.
Fulham 2-0 Spurs. Two pens for Murphy, and Dawson sent off

Have you given consideration to the fact that Man City might be thinking - "fuck, we just drew Aston Villa?" A team that is improving rapidly, and just beat us? And those jammy bastards Man U just drew Crawley.
The reasons to be optomistic are that The Europa Cup starts by the time we play them, they dont allways play that well, we are gaining in confidence, Barry has turned into a bag of shit and Milner if picked will be on the wing-how can we lose, I cant wait.
I am with Hawkeye. Man City are actually not very good atm whatever their results. They look confused. They are a bit like Spuds, losing 4-0 at the moment to Fulham and anything can happen. Expectations are very high there. Not ours.
I am unopologetic at being a GH "sack him" and I and others had good reason.
However, there is a new spirit, our youngsters are impressive, our reserves are impressive and GH appears to have won over the core of the first team. I still give RL a lot of the credit mind but yes I am confident.
Barry can go to waste but by G we miss Milner. We will give them a good fight on current form.
Tokyo- don't worry too much about 'history". Teams and times change. I mean including Leeds as a big Team for example. Yes they were. Now they are not. Maybe, just maybe our time is at hand.
Been saying that for fifty years...... :-/ but there have been a couple of highlights.
Read last post from BBE - See! Who's a Big Team now Muth F :)
If we're going to win it we have to play a tie like this at some point.

and it's better to play a tie like this now rather than later in the Cup.
If we're going to win it we have to play a tie like this at some point.Bit of a cliche Dave. I'd rather do it the Millwall way and take our chances against the last man standing in the final.
We have in recent years tended not to face these clubs only because we have been on the end of a shock from a Leicester or QPR.
Bad draw but hopefully some decent ticket prices and we'll take a few thousand to roar the lads on. Anyone know what our allocation could be here?We should get at have to get 15% so that should be about 7200 as Eastlands holds 47,700
We owe them from when they knocked us out under DOL (after a replay at Eastlands).
I reckon if it's City we have to play, it'll be on Wednesday 2nd March. ( prob the same date if Notts pull it off in the replay, due to ticket sales).
City's midweek fixtures after Notts Co. on 19/20th Feb are,
Thurs 24/2 Aris, home, Europa
Wed 2/3 no game
Thurs 10/3 Europa (if they beat Aris)
Thurs 17/3 Europa (" " " ").
If we drew at COMS, then the replay would have to be on Sunday 13th March, the weekend of the sixth round.

I wouldn't be surprised if we end up going there on a Thursday night (3rd March). A replay at VP would have to be on qtr final day.
when did we last win at Ģiteh?April 28th 2007 we won 2 - 0

You beat me to it but it's irrelevant. No point going into a game thinking you will lose or you may as well not turn up.

We have a chance look @ last week they are definately beatable and they have conceded a lot of goals recently in games v Wolves, Notts County, Leicester

Citeh are on the TV again on Sat 5th of March so I cant see that or the game on the 28th Feb being moved........I still stick with my forecast of Sat 12th of March for our game thats if Citeh get through
Crap draw, but now its done lets go there and get at them. Let's face it as good as their strikers are they can't defend for toffee.
Everyone is scoring against them, and we have the ammunition!!
UTV.
Great draw and I am looking forward to this away day already .Remember it well - and 74-75 promotion season in Div 2. And the night trip in the FA Cup (as European champions... champions of Europe) when we won 5 or 6-0.
Brings back memories of the trip there in 1971 in the 3rd division when we took about 15,000 fans.
Anyone see the article in The Guardian on Saturday asking why no one gives a shit about the FA Cup anymore? Draws like this one might be part of the answer to that question.
Bring back the Cup Winners' Cup
Also remember going to Notts County in the cup and watching the worst nil-niler I've ever seen. For some reason, I seem to remember it was a night game but not a replay?

we'd gone about 8 games without scoring.

It was a league game 2 days after we lost to Liverpool in the quarter final in 1993, I took a leicester supporting mate of mine and he still refers to it as one of the worst games he has ever seen, it was truly dreadful!!

Not quite true if we are talking about the FA Cup game of the 90s. The 3rd round game scheduled for a sunday at meadow Lane was called off so we played the game on a midweek evening, which was 0-0...and was truly shocking. We won the replay but lost at The Baseball Ground in the 4th round. Season 96-97.
Come on Incy pull out some FA Cup magic .....
