In my lifetime, I reckon Dennis Mortimer and Gordon Cowans have won the most major trophies with Villa, these being 1977 League Cup, 1981 First Division title, 1982 European Cup and 1983 Super Cup. I won't mention the 1981 Charity Shield as it was shared with Tottenham (their fans might count it but we aren't tinpot
).
What I hope is that some of the current squad can emulate/come close to the achievements by Mortimer and Cowans.
Oh, and I fully expect the historians amongst us to tell me of bigger winner medals counts from earlier in our club's history. Do educate us all.
