I've basically instantly warmed to him now he's one of us. He's polite and uses the word "confidence" about ten times, so Emery will be working hard to make him feel good about himself. Sometimes that's all you need to do.

My gut says he's gonna be a great signing.

He'll be great and there will be a big discussion about who will sign him on a permanent deal at the end of the season, regardless of our option.

I’m quite perplexed and staggered at the amount of vitriol that is aimed at him. Not necessarily on here.
He’s a 22 year old kid. A footballer.
He was called ‘reprehensible’ by one football commentator this week.

He’s played for 2 of the biggest basket case football clubs in the country und a myriad of managers, and yet he seems to be the fall guy (see M.Rashford too).

Bloody hell, he hasn’t killed a puppy live on the internet!!!

Not only because it suits us, but I hope he has a great season and rams all the negativity down people’s throats !!!!

I’ve just seen a clip of that guy on Facebook. He admitted that he just doesn’t like him, so it’s a personal attack, rather than one formed based upon football ability. People like that shouldn’t be given the oxygen of publicity.

It’s not an option, we are signing him

It's been ridiculous. Judging by some of the comments, you'd think he was the love child of Nigel Callaghan and Josef Mengele.

If Eamonn having a crush on him doesn't give him confidence, nothing will.

I hope he shuts all the doubters up. Didn't realise that he was just 22 yrs. Lots of potential to be realised and rediscovered there. It's up to the lad to see he is very lucky to be at a non-basket case club and if he makes use of his time with us, he can become become a club legend.

It's a conditional obligation. So we might opt to not let him hit the conditions, see also Elliott. H.

Rory Jennings critique was more than just saying he’s a knob or a bell end with an attitude

It was a slow well thought out well articulated full on character assassination bordering abusive, well no not bordering it was fucking abusive about a 22 year-old boy.
Shameful really

I’ll be surprised if he’s not pulled up about it

It's a bit rich from Gabby calling anyone out, he didn't lift a finger when we were on our descent down to relegation.

But if he's great, then we're not going to do that? We'd carry on letting him be great and then sign him as per the agreement in place.

I suspect the conditions for signing him permanently are very similar to Elliott. Also, there will have been a gentleman’s agreement at board level, so I suspect even if he’s Sancho quality, we will sign him.

Everyone wanted Mbaye, it still might happen, but what’s he done compared to Garnacho?
Won more trophies.

Ah the Djimi Traore defence!
Well, you did ask!

Fair to also ask, what's Garnacho done? Especially in the last year to increase his value on what Chelsea paid.

The fact he is still only 22? The increase isn't stupid jump like some and we have managed to make small profits on players we have sold within a year.

With the added bonus that will all get to know the team lineups a lot earlier than normal
What’s not to like?
