Everyone wanted Mbaye, it still might happen, but what’s he done compared to Garnacho? Yes our man is a bit older but he’s proved he’s a good player and is probably cheaper than Mbaye who is an unknown quantity.

A long time Man U acquaintance messaged me taking the piss saying that he thought Rashford to us was bad but this takes the biscuit. My reply -

‘This the same player you were asking mega bucks for a couple of seasons ago, couldn’t have been that bad?

I think Gabby's grift is coming to an end. His shtick is to wind callers up then look around at his gurning co-presenters with cheeky grin and watch while his colleagues chuckling behind their hands.

He was on with a female co-presenter who having none of it this morning. Constantly berating his comments and sat passively, while Arsenal callers dismantled him.

Like many, I'm not a huge fan of the (perceived) baggage. But I've always feared him as an opposition player - and he has often played well against us. If he can show us some of that form, it'll be a great deal.
