Good, I don't want Jackson.
I wouldn't mind. Big improvement on Tammy.

Hopefully this will prove to be a great signing plus it brings down the average age of the squad.

My mate got all excited over Makoun signing and had his name and number on his shirt that year. I don't think I ever saw him wear it.  ;D

I'd prefer we keep our powder dry and make sure we have enough money to replace Watkins next summer with a top striker. Jackson hasn't done nothing at Chelsea to justify the price they'd want, not even close. Getting back the £32m they paid Villarreal in 2023 is far more realistic and even then, yeah, maybe better than Tammy.

Maybe in January we can move Tammy on if he can between now and then get some minutes and goals under his belt. Plus I'm a bit tired of us buying every Villareal player Unai has worked with. There's a whole world out there and apparently we do have scouts. Sorry to be a misery arse but the restrictions put on us by UEFA are not only ridiculous in terms of business growth, no other industry would accept it, just allowing the rich to get richer in their closed shop.

I'm off to watch a few more Manzambi videos. Now he makes me smile. Big time.

Or he’ll get injured on his debut, after an encouraging pre season

ACL in the game that triggers the obligation to buy.

Him doing his ACL is the clause trigger. UEFA are going to be suspicious of such an easy clause.

Hadn’t realised he was born in Madrid and came through the Atletico youth system before Yanited got their grubby hands on him.  Also played for Spain u18 before Argentina made their move.  Kind of make sense now why Unai seems t know a lot about him….

Totally agree they'll ask for way too much, especially after what they gave us for Rogers(also agree on the restraint of trade bullshit) but I really do think Jackson is better than people think. His first season at Chelsea, Watkins didn't outscore him by much in what was his best season for us.
