When he first burst onto the scene at ManU he looked very good.
Emery will have him ripping teams apart.

I guarantee you they will see this as an issue and we will be punished as such.

Surely we wouldn't be stupid enough to set it up so that is a certainty, thus being in breach of the rules. We'll want to at least have a good look at him in the first half of the season and a get out if he is indeed shite / an total bell end...

After recent mis-steps from our recruitment department, I'm not convinced by our track record of handelling it right. However, it's Chelsea we're dealing with and their legal people probably would know how to handle it.

If you only watched Man United and Chelsea when they play us, you'd think we'd just signed an absolutely fantastic player, given he battered the daylights out of us this season at home. And has done before at Old Trafford.

Let's be honest, if you'd said a week ago we'd lose Rogers and sign Garnacho people would have lost their shit. Mental gymnastics have been applied and here we are. Hopefully it works.

Ornstein in The Athletic

Very interesting final few paragraphs about getting around UEFA's rules.

Chelsea are masters at finding holes in them, so you'd hope this deal passes the test.

He's been at two basket case clubs playing for clowns, let's give him a chance.

I am sure there are enough precedents for our lawyers to work out the difference between an obligation and a conditional obligation.

Regardless of how UEFA view it surely we’re still massively within our agreed thresholds?

I really wanted him last summer. A mediocre season at Chelsea under 3 managers doesn't change a 22 year old into a bad player. My concern isn't Garnacho, I think he'll be the best of the 3 ex United resto projects that Unai has taken on (Victor not included) and I will go on a limb and say I think we'll be selling him on for huge money in the future as he's genuinely that talented, my issue with the deal is being able to plug the rest of the squad. Fingers crossed we can.

Seen enough of him to say he can't pass or cross or doesn't want to, probably a bit of both. Always remember seeing Fernandes, Hojlund, Palmer and Pedro going bloody bonkers with him for every fuck up.

Chance No.3 for him, lets see.

I've never given less of a monkeys of who we sign or who we sell. Just doesn't matter and last summer and then last season should make everybody feel the same.

We've clearly stitched up Arsenal in a mutually beneficial deal and Morgan has gone with it to his credit.

A mate of mine concurred with Toronto, that he is indeed a proper bellend.
I find that shocking. Shocking that you have a mate😳
I have 104 friends.
Make that 105 :)

Charlie Cairoli imitators he's played under:

Solskjaer
Carrick - caretaker
Rangnick
ten Haag
Van Nistelrooy - caretaker
Amorim
Maresca
McFarlane - caretaker
Rosenior
McFarlane - caretaker

Garnacho and Maatsen down the left certainly gives us some much needed pace, probably the fastest left side in the League. Not so sure of the defensive side of it though.

What a sobering thought

Pau Torres giving the defensive ballast at left CB as well. What's not to like.
