Welcome João! May you become a Villa great, and may commentators and Villa fans alike pronounce your name correctly.

How is it pronounced? Let’s all get this correct from the start!

Zhoo-ow. Something like that. Rudy will be able to confirm

I watched Wolves a fair bit last season and he’s extremely good. He really impressed me so I’m really excited about him.

All the best and welcome to Villa.

A family man? Has he already had kids at 25? He should be out pulling wimmin (or men) in Wolverhampton every Saturday night, not being force-fed Peppa Pig and Puffin Rock while his FitBit tracks his erratic REM. Game's gone.

I briefly dated one guy from Wolverhampton. It ended the day I discovered he didn't wash his arse in the shower.  :-\

He's better off out of that gene pool!

Hang on, he was from Wolverhampton and he had access to a shower? You should've given him a chance.

It was a golden shower....

I'm sure it will always be Jay-oh in my head.  Although Jay-ow maybe has a better Brummy ring to it.

He’s going to be a very popular player. He’s the type who works really hard and knows his role. A great age to coach and improve. We need more players like him in terms of ability and attitude to round out this window.

Viva la revolución!

He looks tidy from the clips I've seen.

Which is nice. I always like a neat Brazilian.

Just watched a video of him talking about his stammer and talking to some schoolkids with disabilities. Seems like a great bloke.

I'd assume a Wolverhampton shower is, in fact, a leaky roof.

Ahhh, I did wonder why his sister was crouched above the shower cubicle!  ;D

I just laughed quite loudly in a busy café. When the staff asked what I was laughing at I opted out of telling the truth.

BV might be a better bet as I don't speak Brazilian. He'll know how to bastardise Portuguese ;)

Think French 'Je' and add on an 'wow' as in cow. Now combine and say it quickly.

Oh and Viva a Revolução! ;)
