This comparison seems quite helpful.  Confirms much of what has bee said before, but it's nice graphics.  Nicked off Twitter.

does anyone have a comaprison with Elliott Anderson? I don't think those stats will be far removed for a player Man City paid almost 4 times the amount.

I think Bouba will play as the more attacking/line breaking passing midfielder and Gomes will do the more defensive job. Cracking signing this and adds exactly the element/age we needed.

Bouba player of the season incoming…

We've signed a few Brazilians over the last few years and none have really had that Brazilian flair you'd expect coming from the home of sexy football. Gomes has it and with the passion and drive you'd more associate with Argentina (too soon?). I think he's a cracking player and one we most certainly need to maintain having one of the best midfields in the league.

I'm not going to get too excited until he's put pen to paper with Unai sitting next to him. We really need this one to land.

I think you could state that for most of them nowadays and not just the ones we sign. Neymar was probably the last one and he wasn't a jot on his predecessors.

If you’re not excited yet, you will be:

That's a great video Percy.  I see quite a lot of McGinn & Kamara in him.

I like James Allcott, one of the better football content creators out there.

Always like to see a good tackle, I am looking forward to seeing how Emery puts all this together.

I'd love to be a right horrible niggly bunch of bastards like the Argies last night but maintain our beautiful vertical passing moves too. That's the ideal for me

Yeah, we struggle against those types of teams, it would be good for us to have a bit of edge ourselves for once.
