He had it all. Seldom to players emerge at such a young age that have such immense raw talent that just a little patience and dedication would have unlocked a world of opportunity in what is a short career. He blew it. Bad advice, arrogance, attitude whatever it was, we got the most out of Duran as a player and financially. The question is now, while he’s still very young is has he burned all his bridges. I don’t know if he has the ability to eat humble pie, be contrite and admit to his errors. Maybe if he is he has a future in the game. But it would have been great to see the talent of Duran at the World Cup. Football is worse off for the absence of any of its best players.

Hard to judge what's going on until we know why he's on this leave of absence. That's if we ever do.
Maybe his constant moves are because of the odds that he'll have a long career are short because of his health, or maybe it is as simple as he's just pure chaos in every aspect. He was great, modern football is too regimented and in some ways quite boring, now and again some pure chaos reminds you why it can be unpredictable fun.
