My only issue with a chart like that is Tielemans was playing in a talented and highly structured elite European team, Gomes was playing for Wolves.

They are both playing in the Premier League vs the same teams though.  I think it's a closer comparison to Onana than Tielemans though.

Here's Manzambi vs Rogers - which is a less useful due to the different quality of leagues, but still interesting, that he seems to be a similar player.

How much do you think Emery is going to change how we play next season?

Similar but those set of metrics are mostly pointless for Rogers so him basically being a spike is entirely in line with the job he does. He's not there to win possession and he can't play forward passes or progressive passes because more often than not there's only really 1 player in front of him, who is often running a line to create space as much as to offer for a pass.

I think we do need to evolve. Its weird, despite winning a trophy we saw some of the worst performances under Unai’s time in charge.

Yeah, I think people are getting up on how we keep it the same using different players, but I think we are in for a change.

Last year felt like football was trending back to a more direct and physical style.

What’s the hold up announcing/completing this signing?

Probably the same thing it is every other time people start to get nervous about a signing.

The Swiss are famously bad time-keepers.

He's waiting to go on the 11 bus route to see if it's as impressive as the legend says.

What’s the hold up announcing/completing this signing?

The crate of Um Bongo is stuck in customs at East Midlands Airport.
