Although, can they be believed?

"There is also the lure of Champions League football, which Villa secured by beating Manzambi’s Freiburg in May."

Johan Manzambi was the most fouled player in the Bundesliga last season (78 times), and was fouled at leat 14 more times than any other player in the competition. #AVFC were the most fouled team in the Premier League last season (471 times). Match made in heaven.

Hopefully this gets done ASAP. Us fans need a lift! Especially after losing Youri and Lucas Digne on top of Onana's awful injury. Hopefully Olabe has got signings lined up. Another concern is the amount of pre-season games with a thin looking squad at present.

I know it is people on twitter, but invariably when it is something bad, it ends up being right, and far too many saying the deal is off. I really hope not after the week we’ve had.

He’s only just come back from the World Cup. Last I saw, he’s back in Germany for a couple of days, then over for his medical by the end of the week.

Looks like that’s the link Eamonn. If true, and he does walk away, fair play to him, and shame on us. Take 2-3M less a season from someone that you can put your head on the pillow at night about.

Well, I couldn’t blame him in that case. And hopefully that will send a clear message to the owners.
