I'd like Rashford and Ramsey back for attacking midfield roles.
Then I'd like Wharton and Garner in for CM (doubt we'd get those, clubs would ask for fortunes)

Absolutely Wharton go and get him now, said this over a season ago, think we should also get Morgan Whittaker from Boro, his stock value is rising constantly.

I've zero desire to have Ramsey back. We got a good fee for him, he hasn't pulled up any trees at Newcastle, so best left in the past.

I wouldn’t want either back really, if it’s time for a reboot, it’s time for new exciting players. One of those above was always injured and the other wages are out of our league.

Seems more offensive than Onana and Tielemans. Which is great, so it's more likely he's here to battle with Buendia for a spot in the AM 3.

Which means we need to replace Onana and Tielemans too

That’s what I’m hoping.  A splurge on a DCM that will complement Kamara and allow the others to play.  The injury and sale opens up the opportunity to re-balance the squad so we are not completely f**ked each time Kamara gets injured.

Bringing JJ back would be an emotional move, not a rational one.

Or a good one. Injury prone and not sure what position he would play. I always felt Rogers was bought to replace him.

We've got to get 2 midfielders in of quality around Manzambi though. Expecting Kamara and Manzambi to carry the midfield over Youri and Onana without adequate rotation options is mad. A loan player and a perm ideally.

Hate to say it but I'd take that Paulinha that injured Kamara on loan for a season to play holding mid in a rotation with Kamara.

Whilst I still like JJ that’s not happening. Guessand was his replacement as the deeper lying ball carrying attacker, and now that’s gone FUBAR, Manzambi fills that role.

I'd have Ramsey back in a heartbeat, he's built to play the way we do. But then I'd also have Keinan Davis back as well, and am intrigued at how good Matty Targett could be under Emery.

Mbwana Samatta's still banging them in for Le Havre

(he isn't really, 3 in 27 last season)

I'd absolutely have Davis.
