I think it's a different Holgate too, to the one that missed against us in the Championship Playoffs for West Brom.

Decent draw for Cracovia away against Lech Poznan. Think Poznan are the reigning Champions.

Some English leagues have also started. A mate of mine is a ground-hopper and he's already approaching double figures for 2026/27

Dutch League usually starts really early too.

Whereas the lazy Spanish take forever to start their League (maybe to avoid the heat in August?).

It gives them more time to put out the wildfires.

Didn’t see it, but watched my ancestral land of Limerick the previous week.

At that game they said the crowd was bigger than the World Cup final. Was it similar for the Mayo game?

Hibs lose 2-0, Motherwell win 2-0. Shelbourne win 5-2.

Midtjylland lost 1-0 away in Turkey but played most of the match with 10.

Maccaibi win 5-0.

Benfica lost 2-1 to some swiss.

Hibs through to the next round after winning 4-1 to join Motherwell. Shelbourne lost on the night but are through as well.

Midtjylland decided that it is all the fashion to play with 10 and had someone else sent off before letting in another 2.

Benfica recovered although they needed to have an opponent sent off before they got around to sealing it (and adding some more for good measure). Even Lenglet scored for them. Duran came on for the last 15 mins or so.

Yeah, the attendance was also 82,300. Tickets would have been like gold dust with requests for tickets going all around the country from Mayo (as each county board gets an allocation of tickets for the final).

Even for the Connacht final there were circa 17,500 Roscommon fans there out a crowd of 25k. That's 1 in 4 of the population, which would have been higher if it hadn't sold out.
