Our first european final in over 40 odd years and to those fans holding that flag, Villa were  just an afterthought.

In our first European final in 40-odd years a lot of our supporters were singing about Birmingham City.

I always find that very small time.

We've been signing "oh what a night" about us playing in Europe and the Blues being shite since Hibs.

Villa fans with England flags used to just have Aston Villa across the middle or their area name eg Erdington Villa. Now every quadrant seems to be filled with only one quarter to the club and the rest to any one of several war images.

I’ve noticed an increasing number of red hand of. ulster on flags too. It ramped up for the Celtic game last year. The 3 lions, war, poppy, military stuff is definitely more visible now.

I noticed a concentration of these type of flags in posts from Palace in Leipzig a few weeks ago  so maybe it’s a national trend. A mate told me the flag shaggers were actually fighting other Palace fans out there

"Lest we forget" indeed!

My mum served in the WAAF during WW2, and sold poppies for many years. These gutless scum are a big, stinking shit stain on her memory, and that of everyone who lost their lives fighting against the very poison that they espouse.
I wouldn't trust that any of that lot to fight beside me in the trenches 😡

The flag says ‘Stop the boats’ which has been assumed to be a right wing slogan. Maybe not. It could be just the headline. The back story being ‘stop the boats, arrest/take out the Criminal Gang Leaders and rubber dinghy manufacturers, then allow safe passage to the doctors/Lawyers/Engineers who can’t afford a flight for some reason. Which I think was in what’s left of the Labour manifesto.

Just a thought.
