Brighton already moved to Sunday 2pm

Yeah that is strange. Assuming it's for fixture rather than TV reasons at this stage...ahhh...of course, Brighton will have a Conference qualifying match the midweek before...

I'll give Emery until October. If we're not top of the league by then e's gorra go.

Not everyone's as patient as you, Dave.

Tough start, tough festive period and tough end to season as usual. Still, better than I was expecting. Could do without being lethargic as fuck at Brighton as we often are in our opening game.

What odds could you get that they will leave Arsenal as a 3pm Saturday game, 50/1 maybe?

That's a horrible run-in. Easiest game a Cov derby where at the very least they'll be desperate to avenge Bald Sign Man Day.

Brighton in the sun will be nice. The fixtures gods have heard my plea.

Glad Coventry away is nicely into their season so hopefully they are nicely in the grinder by then.

I don't have too much to moan about, unfortunately. What has become of me?  :-\

The fixtures don't look as tough as they used to. Nearly all of them are against sides that finish below us, and we usually win  the majority of others anyway.

Everyone has to play each other home and away. Any analysis of strength and weakness of the schedule is akin to astrology, quite frankly.

It will be live on tv though.  All Sunday 2pm games are now.

Arsenal at home to Coventry first televised game. How incredibly dull. I wonder who will win?

Not really, momentum plays a big part in things because of the impact of confidence, form, fitness and focus. A run of easier games or tougher games does have an impact so ideally having a decent mix through the season is the ideal, even if it only translates to a small shift on goal difference or a couple of points those things can be significant.

Yes, but there are none of those things to consider now. There is no form, injuries, tough or easy games yet.
Apart from Coventry of course. That fixture will ways be classed as playing someone who is shit.

I hope we don't take January off as usual. There are points there for us. I will personally be taking January off because I love tradition.

Manure have 2 promoted teams to start with. That has to be a help.

No it isn't, it's tin hat territory. Everyone has the same number of "easy" and "hard" games as everyone else.
