Brian Madjo will start to make an impact. He’s quite a unit

And not 18 yet!
Looks like a prospect indeed.

He's even got a fish tank on his back in parts of that video.

I think Burrowes has a chance also, can play wide, has played up top and also played full back for England….expect to see a few of the young guys in pre-season.

I think Jimoh-Aloba has a chance, I've been impressed with how unfazed he's looked in his brief appearances.

He didn't really shine at Albion though. I think a season long loan is on the cards.

We should never loan our young lads to WBA. Their shiteness rubs off on them - Iling Jr, Dobbins, Jimoh. They'll never flourish so high above sea-level.

The only exception I can think of is Graham Fenton.

We seem unable to progress players regularly from the u18s to first team level. If we can't do that after winning the youth double last season, then it does seem a poor return. Several will make it in the EFL at different levels, but if we undeniably had the best team in that age group I'd be expecting a bit more.

It could just be a perception, but youth players come through more readily at other big clubs like Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal.

I think Bogarde is the only one in the current squad who has progressed recently.

We've signed him but can't register him until he's 18, which is in January.

It's even worse - we won the Youth Cup twice in 4 years and all we have is Bogarde so far. But I have hopes for Burrowes in particular, Broggio, who did very well at Falkirk after a serious injury, and Rowe, who looked strong and fast before he went out on loan. A bit soon perhaps for Jack McGrath and Markie Meade but they are very promising.

it's been a while since one of our own broke through, can't wait for it to happen again, there's just something fulfilling about one of our own making it

Isn’t there still a dispute regarding signing/registering him ?

Caused by him having been capped by Luxembourg and therefore subject to international transfer restrictions due to his age, which outweighs the fact that he’s from London.
