Cisse has been excellent, I think we've got something a bit special there, and probably for £15-20m less than if we'd signed him this summer rather than last.

Yeah, a much needed young centre back to develop.

I presume Madjo can play because it's a friendly?  Looks a handful. No wonder Tammy can go.

Obviously Madjo, Ned and Hemmings have been great as well.

I really hope we use the disruption to the squad this summer as an opportunity to lean on a bunch of these kids going forward, there's some serious quality in our U21s.

Cisse looks so comfortable on the ball. Like it.

He's kept it really simple, linking up well with Barkley. He hasn't been spraying the ball around but he's more than capable. I'm really excited about the signing, he's already got some decent experience under his belt and will be looking to shadow Konsa rather than going out on loan. He's still very young but as you say so comfortable on the ball.

Think he’s about the same age as Konsa when he joined, isn’t he?

Cissé is 20, 21 in two weeks time.

Luka Lynch? I'm assuming he is one of the 17-18 yo crop who are going to win the FA Youth Cup this year.

I am very concerned about this score. For the last 3 very successful season we have not done well at Walsall.

He’s 19. Not sure if he’ll be looking for a loan.
