I'm flying to Munich then getting the train across.  It's the simplest but probably not the cheapest now.

I know a mate of mine pressed us to get hotels in Munich and Saltzberg sorted before the ECL final - boy was he right

They have trebled in Munich and quadrupled in Saltzberg !!

Anyone looked into any decent travel routes?

I'm on the 9am flight from LHR to Munich on matchday.  Booked the 3pm train to Salzburg.  Booked it the Saturday after Istanbul for £140 return.

I work for an Austrian company - the main guy their told me that and I quote “ if you get the train from Munich to Salzburg, you stop at every shit hole in Germany”

As he is Austrian and regularly has to do that journey to get to the Head Office - I am sure he knows what he is talking about

I’ve taken a train from Munich to Salzburg and there were absolutely beautiful views on the way.

Any idea if the club will put on flights there and back like for Istanbul?  Want to go, but can't really take another three days off in the summer holidays on top of what I've already got booked so an in and out option would be great.

I had a look in the ticket announcement for that, as I think it was in the one for Istanbul, but there was no mention of it.

I have had a reply from UEFA ticket app to say i am in the draw (whoo hoo)

I have also applied through Villa as my argument is that as a part time employee (40 years this year) we have no way of gathering the required vouchers etc to qualify for a ticket.

Hoping they do not sell out before we get a look in
