Spain utterly controlled that game but had PSGs Digne not kicked Bishop Brennan up the arse it might have been a different dynamic for much of the tie. IF England face them in the final then Spain can keep hold of the ball as much as they wish when it's 0-0. In that situation England can be outplayed (they would be) but with Kane, Rogers and the lad who played a handful of games for Blose they've always a chance.
Mbappe,Dembele,Barcola,Doue didn't have a sniff

Well no they absolutely didn't but Spain hardly missed a glut of opportunities and England have players who can make silk purses.

Blimey, ITV blaming Digne for the 2nd goal. Got it in for him . Neville been on his case all tournament. No mention of the CB messing up.
Or no midfield players any where near, the fact it’s RB that has scored seems to have been ignored as well.

France didn't put a glove on Spain. Probably the most complete team performance of the world cup. What a player Rodri is.And Danny Olmo.

Thought that prat Cucurella was terrific too, annoyingly!

Yeah, he didn't give Olise a sniff all game.

I can't see England or Argentina taking anything from Spain.

Likely a different game if Spain go behind but Williams coming off bench is a huge asset in the final. Spain were superb in second half. They were outstanding to a man. Big selection calls by the coach including Ruiz all justified. Can see tonight why Raya is on the bench.

Kone and Doue after I called for them at half time were shocking. Some technical limitations were really exposed in the French team, Digne can't run, brought on a left centre back that couldn't kick the ball with his left foot, midfield two were outclassed. Olise in particular was awful on the night and he was key in the previous rounds.

Spain's players have a bewildering ability to make the ball stick to them.

Fun fact, the brave, trust-in-the-youth manager who took a chance and gave Mikel Oyarzabal his senior debut was David Moyes during his couple of months at Real Sociedad.

Half-time in the World Cup final to last up to 25 minutes so it can feature a "Super Bowl-style" show.  Of course it is.  FFS!

He’s a very good player to go with the pantomime villain stuff.

I can't say this bothers me. Wouldn't be happy if it happened every game, but for a one-off, not too arsed.

Spain made France look like a pack of willing runners. Absolutely outclassed them. It’s amazing watching their players hardly ever make mistakes: their players’ individual judgement in various scenarios is almost always correct, with no panicking.

Unbeaten in 37 games, so you know what comes next.

They will lose on Sunday.
