I thought if that wasn’t a penalty, then neither was the one they gave against Kane the other day, when the opposition player managed to put his leg across Kane’s foot as he was in the act of clearing the ball.

With the Kane one, both players went for the ball, attacker was slightly quicker and got kicked by Kane (similar to Modric's against England). The one today the defender wasn't touching Spence, who then placed his leg across the front of the defender to ensure he got hooked. I can see why it might be over-turned when seen again.

Ah I see now! Ok!

Good, I knew you'd see sense eventually.

I think you two should pair up and be on VAR duty together sometime.  ;D

Should have been a corner. Bobb never shouted for it.

Yep they’ve tied themselves in knots with the replays and overthought it. Ref said put leg across and then no foul which was obvious nonsense!

Shouldn’t that be a red for Pickford for covering his mouth talking yo Odegaard?

Only if Odegaard shouted for it which he hasn't. Essentially the rule is based on how confrontational the players are being at the time.

If you watch the challenge on Spence, the first thing that happens is the defender puts his knee into the back of Spence, before they are entangled. Nowhere near the ball .

Solihull? What is Matterface on about?

Probably doesn't know that Stourbridge is 11 miles west of Brum. I don't think he knows about anything at all, tbh.

Probably why Natalie Sawyer divorced him.

Pickford was a bit lazy with the pass then.
