I wonder why none of the previous 11 red cards at this tournament were suspended.

They really don't even try and hide they are corrupt. Anyone think a Ghana player would have the same outcome.

I don't know how bad the challenge was by the Qatari player as the replays were rightly not shown, but it didn't actually look deliberate and they decided to lump an extra 5 on his. Balogun's didn't look deliberate and three officials all thought it was red card worthy still.

But of 12 red cards shown at the world cup, only one has been suspended by FIFA to let a player play. From now on, any player sent off should have it suspended as a precedent has been set.

Fuck off FIFA!

If you don’t, all European nations should make up their own group with select other countries. The Premier is bad enough. This is corruption for all to see.

I hope Belgium smash the granny out of them and they do red card goal celebrations.

To be fair, they did manage to find a way to ignore Ronaldo's red card.

To be fair, they did manage to find a way to ignore Ronaldo's red card.

But his red wasn't in this tournament (was the argument) and he also then had to allow a few other players as well because of it. This is just favoritism to stop Trump using the FBI to look at the corruption again like last time.

And this from an organisation that bans teams from competing in their competitions if the governments have too much control of football, bowing to a government who has too much control over their main compeition.

I’ll call it now, a highly controversial VAR decision will result in USA going through.

Will Rogers (see what I did there?) start tonight?
And yes, FIFA are beyond the pale.

Guess it depends what happens with Rice. If he's right-back or not fit, I assume Bellingham drops back and Rogers plays.

If Rice is in his usual place, I expect Bellingham and Rogers will be too.

I wonder if the broadcasters (BBC and ITV) will call out FIFA's decision for what it is, or will they simply gloss over it?

BBC doing an article on how to cope as though staying up until 1am has never happened before in the history of mankind.

FIFA cite article 27 of their code but did they explain the circumstances of what made this decision different from others which weren’t suspended?

I don’t think it was a red, so I’m glad he’s available.

Forgetting that the Scotland game vs Haiti kicked off at 2am.
