Bet there'll be a hell of an inquest in the Argentinia base camp tomorrow. Their national media will slaughter them big time!

Unbelievable performance by Cape Verde! What a joy to see their performances over the past few weeks. 67th on the world? Thinking that ranking might shift soon!

Tbf Argentina were pretty ropey for much of the tournament last time. Lost to the Saudis, scraped past Australia and blew a two goal lead twice along the way.

True dat, and that has often been the way since I started watching the WC in 1966.

You're probably right.

But then I don't follow international media.

Do they all follow the English formula of saying they have the best players in the world, without a shadow of a doubt, so the coach must be to blame?

Before you know it, they'll be the second highest-ranked team in England's next qualifying group.

Just to make it a bit tougher than usual.

Yeah, I'd love to learn Italian, but I've heard it's very similar to Spanish, so that puts me off.

Oh no, Carlos Queiroz will actually have to unpark the bus. He won't know what to do.

Thanks to Ferguson being such a monumental twat, he'll be bloody good at handling the media afterwards.

Unpark the bus, forget about us
Put the blame on me

Kenny Rogers said that in his seminal song "Tie a Yellow Ribbon".

Amirite?
