Is Argentina v Cape Verde the biggest WC knockout mismatch in terms of, well everything?

Sweden v Cuba (8-0) and Hungary v Dutch East Indies (6-0) in 1938 were pretty one-sided.

Brazil v Germany (1-7) too.

Well, you can get betting odds of 28/1 against Cape Verde, so I would say yes.

Feel sorry for the lad that had to interrupt his exam revision to take a penalty. Surely a senior pro should have volunteered to take it ahead of him?

He looked so bloody young

..poor kid, he'll carry that with him forever. When you hear people like Southgate, Pearce, Waddle talk about the effect it had on them...tragic

Spread betting is highly leveraged, and you may lose you capital.

Nonetheless, a 3 goal margin is a conservative estimate.

Keeping it to no more than 4 will be a good result imo. Still hoping they'll somehow stay in the game for a while. Brazil being humiliated was funny and a great WC moment, Cape Verde would just be a bit sad to watch.

If Argentina are 3 or 4 up, you'd hope they'd take Messi off and ease up.

They probably could play rush goalie and still stroll it.

Compared to the BBC iPlayer, ITV x is shite to use.
