When the offside rule was radically changed back a while ago, Fergie and Wenger were the first EPL managers to exploit it by having players standing in offside positions and then drifting back onside.
Fast forward to recent times, and now we have players surrounding the GK, players actually behind the goal line, in the net as it were, plus shirt pulling, shoving and holding allowed as long it is "for not too long".
