Watching the replay of the penalty incident, I've changed my mind. Kane's tripped a bit before he got to the keeper so he initiates contact with the keeper. If he jumped over the keeper he would have had a tap in.

He’s done this his whole career. He generally get the penalty. It does my head in that our pundits think it’s ok.

There is a camera angle that looks like a grab on the ankle but another that doesn't so who knows. Whatever, it's gone now. It wasn't given so move on.

That’s never a penalty and these professionals need to stop saying it is. Kanes cheating.

I just starting watching and caught the 'penalty', and AS's blathering.

Pundits tie themselves in knots to justify it, and have done for years.  He took a swan dive, well done ref.

Frank Spencer would be better than Spence

Rooney analysis...priceless.

On the plus side I think that Joe Hart has been good.  Considered, articulate and explains things with clarity.

Head and shoulders above the rest of the pundits.

I wouldn't want the Rashford of this World Cup back at the Villa. He's been blose.

I bet nobody has been there.
Actually I have. Delightful place.

England revert to type..shite. Some excellent diving though and that's without Saka.

I heard prematch that rice was world class. Anybody know the name of the restaurant? If it's the one I'm thinking of it's completely overrated, the service is slow and at times shit.

Darren Cann pretty much has been wrong with all his decisions he has spoken on.

No footage from the Boxpark in Kinshasa. Disappointing.

Can’t play without a central midfield! Pretty basic.

Best hope at this rate would be to bring Dan Burn on for set pieces!

Exactly - the players are so used to every offical giving decisions in favour of the big boys - and then we get to a world cup and there not treated specially

Could be the most embarrassing exit since I was asked to leave Pagoda Park, after getting the trots in white linen 3/4 length trousers
