Bosnia would now need another 6 goal swing just to tie up the goal difference. Canada hammering Qatar's 9 men has really helped them out

Well this has all been rather shit so far. But in a funny way work out. The projection at the start of the day was Belgium. Now looks like South Korea. Appreciate all that could and will change.

I have been trying to work out what is the worst case scenario for Scotland if they are going to get through. I think they can probably afford to lose 2-0 and still get through. They are at a big disadvantage playing early on in the last round of games though.

That might have been 2-2.

I expect Scotland to be down in the 6-7th place by the end of the tournament if they get nothing against Brazil, but it will potentially be squeaky depending on how many Brazil score if they win.

Of everyone below them, Senegal are the lowest points but they play Iraq and are only -2 minimum GD behind if Brazil win. Then you have Ecuador and the Czech's playing against already group winners probably resting their top players, Congo playing Uzbekistan and Cabo Verde playing the Saudi's. I suspect there might be a combination which means if the team below them does enough, then a current 2nd place team drops below Scotland but I suspect a point pretty much gurantees it, or a Qatari goal tonight.

BBC have McGinn playing on the left for the team graphic. I'm assuming that just them not knowing where people will be playing and guessing the formation based on the players picked.

Of course Scotland will go out as the nineth-best third placed team.  It's what they do.
