Lovely ball by Messi, and to be fair to the young man, he finished it off eventually, too!

He could have had another hat-trick if he hadn't missed the penalty.

Messi is nearly 39. Hard to believe he's still alive at that age.

He hasn’t even begun being alive at 39, yet!

He's just an incredible player, ridiculous to have 5 in 2 at the world cup 2 days before his 39th birthday.

I know Mbappe will likely overtake his tally, but I'd like Messi to finish this World Cup as the all-time top scorer.

Messi showed why he'w the best. He could easily have scored that pen but no, he wanted to keep the game interesting for the opponents and especially the millions watching and doesn't want cheap penalty goals padding his stats, same as Ollie doesn't. And then right at the death, doink, he scores to show he can score whenever he wants. What a guy.

I like that shit Ronaldo is at his 6th tournament and still hasn't caught up with the boy Lineker who only played in two.

As I have stated before, playing for Inter Miami will keep you on your toes.
Alligators can spring out of creeks, and there are all manners of insects that are itching  to feast on your flesh.
