I'd genuinely like to know how many missed penalties should be retaken because of encroachment. I'd imagine it's most of them.

The player who was in the area cleared the ball. VAR calls them these days, the same as they would have checked an England players position if that one had scored the rebound. As with offside, I doubt there would have been any call back if the player hadn't played a part.

We're making Croatia look like old men.

Lee Dixon with razor sharp support commentary.

‘Took a huge amount of courage.’ Fcuk off

My thoughts exactly. I'd like to know who the hell it is at ITV that thinks Dixon is worthy employing.

I do think its harsh on defenders - often a Penalty is a massively favarable result (i.e. a near certain goal for a foul that didnt stop a goal scoring chance).

then the taker can do all of this this stuttering run up bollocks - think its too much in the attackers favour

Modric was about two hours late with his intervention. That’s what you get with age🤷🏽‍♂️
..not surprising as he used his bus pass to get there. If we cant over run him in midfield at his age there are no excuses.

Bellingham might not have had the support, but I doubt he knew that as I didn't see him look at anyone but the defender in front of him.

Final ball's been iffy but definitely well on top.

This is piss poor.
They don’t seem to have a game plan.
