Yeah, it's not as if the British Gov't hasn't banned prominent people from entering the UK recently. If Partey had already been convicted, I doubt he would have been granted a US visa (as a criminal conviction generally renders you ineligible for an ESTA).

I don't think anyone doubts that, but there are clearly differences between the perfectly reasonable banning a suspected racist by Canada and the racist bollocks of banning someone because the President hates Muslim countries by the US authorities.
