McGinn's first in the semi-final. The whole move epitomised how I want Villa to play and the finish was exquisite

Very good goal but gets marked down slightly by the fact that Forest decided they weren't going to bother marking him once we went 2-0 up.

Buendia’s against Freiburg, the moment when even the most pessimistic of us started to believe the thirty year wait was finally ending.

Most important could arguably be McGinn’s against Bologna, not a great game or performance but it got us moving again.

Buendia away at Newcastle was outstanding too. Has to be his goal v Freiburg, outstanding and clinched the game.

Good shout, that one at Newcastle had so much dip that I couldn't believe it wasn't deflected on the replay.

A word for both his and McGinn's knuckleball freekicks, very satisfying and make the keepers look like mugs.

Buendias first against Spurs in the Cup was a pretty special move and finish as well.

Tielemans in the final, technically the best.
Beundia in the final the most orgasmic and therefore the winner.
Beundia against Arsenal/McGinn for 3-0 in the semi final, drawing as influencing the most combustion.

I've never known a season where we've scored so many brilliant goals.

Like many I have to go for Buendia away at Spurs. Three individual pieces of pure skill and technique. poetry in motion.

One that hasn't been mentioned was Malen's first at home to Burnley. Brilliant in that he had no right to score it without the use of a slide rule. And there was me thinking only Brian Little did angles.

Think the goal against Tottenham was the best of the Season.

Brilliant from all 3 players involved.
Amazingly, this goal did not make the Grauniad's Goals of the Season; shocking! A class goal.

All of Emi's cos he only scores screamers or winners and I love him.

But he invented the knuckle-ball or seemingly introduced it to England so for the innovation, I'll go for his free-kick v Bournemouth.
