What's with the Coppers lined up there? Were they expecting it to kick off in the tunnel?

I had never cared less about a game and then absolutely cared about it in all my life.

There was no excuse for the lino getting Watkins' goal wrong. The shade of green patch that Ollie was in was clearly different to the last defender. Fucking idiot. Completely takes away the joy of Ollie's celebration.

The same lino was buttering Guardiola's arse while they were checking Foden's goal for some reason.

Yep I commented on that to my lad at the time. Looked suss, probably wasn’t and if thats the case just a bit fawning and idiotic

Then the pair of idiots seemed unable to understand why Villa were were so much better in the 2nd half

I'll give the pair of them a clue:

Garcia  - Cash
Lindelof - Torres
Luiz - Youri
Bogarde - Onana
Barkley - SMJ

Replacing 5 squad players with first choice regulars might have played a part in the change.
No, you couldn't be further away from the reality. Most of these players came on in the 73rd minute when we were already dominating and John came on with 5 mins to go to replace Ross who was running the middle and had set up Ollie for the winner.
Although I agree Matty Cash coming on at HT made a difference.

Cash made a bit of a difference but more importantly I think they just ran the alcohol out of their systems in the first half and came out up for the game 2nd half. Man City, by contrast, looked like they came out having attended a wake at half-time and seemed much more interested in paying tribute to Silva, Stones and Guardiola than in actually playing the match.

Attitude and application more than anything else for me.

V possible although reminded me of the Chelsea away game. So may have been a similar game plan. We do seem to play in fast tempo bursts apart from v big games.

It was similar in those three big games against Forest at home, Liverpool and Freiburg. We were superb in all three in the second half. Against Freiburg we didn't dominate completely until about 40 mins, against Liverpool after their equaliser, yesterday from 44 minutes  - we ended the half well. Once we got going  in those games we were a joy to watch.

I thought Cash made a massive difference simply by playing moderately well - Garcia really was that bad!

agree, them not having freedom of the right side of our half helped an awful lot.

Great second half, it's a pity that the result got washed away with the adulation of Pep. If you take into account all the restrictions we have played under this season our performance is far superior to any others. We should get team of the year and Unai should definately get best manager.

These GOH whilst the game is going on are ridiculous,  and a GOH for Silva, the same Silva who was fined and banned for a racist tweet. I'm sure he'll be crying at his new pay cheque from the next club. We had to then watch all the fawning over a bloke who splits all the time. The Sky commentary was just dreadful, had to turn it off. How can the 115 counts of rule breaking still be unresolved. These cheats along with the rest of the Sky Six have stopped anyone else from breaking into their domination. Lets just see. Chelsea have no Europe, finished 10th, but will still spend like a drunken sailor as will Spurs. Whilst we and Newcastle will have to be very frugal. MOTD is the same, they say stuff like " Just look what Emery has done with a tiny budget". The tiny budget is not our wish, but rules forced upon us by the Sky Six and the likes.
Football has indeed been changed by these dreadful people

Yeah I thought the GOH was shit but ah well, if thats all we've got to moan about then all good.
