Don’t do fascist billionaires. What does it say?

Our 4th place finish helped Sturm Graz move up a notch in the CL.

Eight changes and a collective hangover, I didn’t expect that result, thank you Villa.

I gave zero shits about the result before the game,  but winning the ‘turning up at Pep Guardiola’s leaving do and pissing in the punch bowl’ bowl feels pretty great.

Yeah. Fcuk those cant’s

Manager who has presided over a team which - for the best part of ten years - has bored the opposition into submission has finally had enough of maxing out the cheat code.

Sure, it’s a blow to the prestige of English football.

But I think English football will muddle through, somehow.

It was great to be able to bring on Tielemans, Onana, Pau and SJM. But it's worth pointing out that the only change we made before Ollie scored his second was Cash at half time.

yep, the players that started deserve credit for turning the performance around.  Cash helped, because frankly Garcia was mostly dire, but the other 10 who started deserve huge credit.  I'm sure Unai must have tweaked something, but I wasn't watching intently enough to spot it.
Garcia looked like a proper competition winner - it was embarrassing.

Other than that, brilliant win today. City don’t like playing us these days.

Brilliant result again for you just an question from this Fulham fan, how comes that if you had finished 5th there would been 6 clubs in the champions league, but because you came 4th there any only 5 in champions leagues

Because the 5th place spot is a bonus slot granted by UEFA due to England's co-efficient, based on how PL clubs performed in Europe. The spots for 1st-4th aren't.

In the small bit they devoted to Villa on MotD, Shearer was very complimentary on us and how well we have done with the little expenditure this season, something that doesn't get mentioned a lot this season which is why Andrews and Carrick get the nod in the manager nod.

Two things that are true at once:

1) it is delightful to ruin the party for this very questionable project;

2) the gestures we showed their departing fellas showed, once again, that the Villa are pure class.

Finished the season giving out a few spankings, and qualified twice for the CL whists seemingly smoking on a Havana cigar. Goodness knows what could have happened if we hadn't lost Kamara/Tielemans/SJM for those few weeks

There wasn't really anything on the game today, but that was actually a bit of a statement win today, even if it was a relatively minor one.  There have been a few snidey comments in the media after the win on Wednesday night along the lines of it "only being the Europa League" and if we had gone there today and lost, then it would have been "told you Villa aren't at that level"  type of comments.

The fact that we have gone there and won just puts a little marker down at the end of the season about where we are.

We were much improved when Cash came on not sure why but it was a different team after the break, that was before the big changes in personell. Brilliant to watch brilliant result.
