I thought I didn’t give a toss all morning, but I was gutted when Foden scored. Well done VAR (on Ollie’s goal as well).

It feels like in the last few weeks we've gone up several levels and now exist on a different plane to mere mortals.

We are 100% winning the league next year.
I agree. I think winning Europa, hanging around in the top 4 all season and at times flirting with top place has fortified us as a team. We have the belief now and if next season we find ourselves in top 3 around xmas we will know that we belong there.

And I think Unai will learn a lot of lessons from last summer!

Hangover cure #115.   Spend 45 minutes playing football barely getting out your own half let alone into the opposition half while keeping the score down to one goal. Rest for 15 minutes.

Last 6 against them W4 L2. Pretty impressive considering their years of cheating, oil money and financial disparity.

I’ve just watched the highlights. Ollie”s second goal is incredible. It’s a sign of a good goal when the last defender ends up on his arse.

Cash coming on changed things, as did their GOH guff.
Cash always changes things.

VAR favouring the big European sides again.

Pep's chips duly pissed on - YES !

OK first-half riding our luck somewhat. Second-half really good, especially when our regulars got on. Watkins was superb - despite apparently not being good enough.

I’d say it’s more 50/50.

We either will or we won't so it's definitely 50/50.

If Bailey wasn't Bailey we would have hammered them 1-4 minimum. He couldn't even slot a simple pass to Watkins for a deserved hat trick. Awful player, good riddance!

Absolutely crucial in getting us over the line in that first qualification for the Champions League. He’s not the same now, but let’s not completely slag off a player who has played an important role for us.

I'm so happy we've finished 4th - that's a proper season, imagine what we could have done if we hadn't wasted the transfer windows too.....
