I said when we reached 58 points there was a strong chance that was enough even if we lost every remaining league game.

Where's your quote?!! 🙄🤣

 :P ;D

We qualified weeks ago. Odds are high that even if we lose every game we'll still have enough points for top 5. And we won't lose every game.

This team, man. How some of them played the full 90 (+) is beyond me

Okay it was only Parks football back in the 80s & 90s but leaving a night club at 2am and playing 90 mins on a Sunday morning was a great way of sobering up I found.

So much for Smithy wanting us to be 6 points clear of Champs League rivals before our last two league games  ;D

That game reminded me of the 2-0 vs Arsenal two years ago. Under the cosh first half, utter dominance in the second.

So impressive in all areas of the pitch in the second half after being under the cosh for the first 45.  Where on earth did they get that energy from?
Shout out for Bizot too for that lovely save when we were one nil down.
What a week to be a Villa fan.

There aren't many things more Villa than losing to Fulham, Forest and Spurs and then twatting Forest, Liverpool, strolling a cup win winning at ManC.

I've had worse weeks as a Villa fan.
Indeed mate. We were there in some horrendous  weeks like Spurs and Wigan at home in the league and Bradford and Millwall in cups. We deserve weeks like this.

So 4th, a few more pennies in the bank, and nice to finish above the Redscouse.

Absolutely astonished that we won. Did feel like the subs meant we got stronger as the game went on.

Typical Pep leaves after we start always beating them.

Well, I cared about this game and I'm relieved/chuffed we won. Maybe we can afford Rashford's extra £20k a week now and pick-off Bournemouth's best players since we've deprived them of CL football. That and Liverpool being shit again.

It would have been annoying to finish lower than the Redshite having been 3rd for over half the season.

Who played well today?

Lindelof Watkins Mings..... all of them. Bailey end product could have been better but he stretched their defence all second half.
