£2bn+ on transfers in his time there.

He's still gor a year left on his contract, but is jumping ship early.

Why?

Is it that the FA is about to finally announce guilty verdicts on all charges and the bald fraud doesn't want to be there when the shit hits the fan?

Trying not to get litigated out of existence I think.

Any punishment for the actual offences should be multiplied given how hard they've fought to not face them.

I have no faith in the administrations in football - that includes the Premier League, the FA, UEFA, FIFA etc - it's all corrupt sadly.

I'm guessing that the sheer number of charges makes it a lot more difficult than Saints, Everton etc where it's very straightforward.

I think that's definitely true of the more complex charges. However, for simple things like refusing to provide documents when requested, the Premier League should have had rules in place to provide instant penalties, with more severe punishments for repeated offences. Had they done so, there is a decent chance the whole thing would be sorted by now.

The Chelsea outcome gives me no confidence that the Premier League want to take the charges seriously, sadly.

It is going to be a total cop-out.
